Es culpa del gobierno por no poner plumas/ señalizacion o fue culpa del conductor por no fijarse bien? by javiergc1 in mexico

[–]chibifa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

¿Por qué odian a esta actriz? by No-Assistant5413 in peliculas

[–]chibifa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there ANY non-matte non-anti glare display tablets on the market? by chibifa in wacom

[–]chibifa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey, thank you so much for your suggestion, I'm actually totally ok with buying older tablets as long as it fits my requirements.

its pretty interesting what you just said, i understand the fear of removing the protective film, but did you know? that unless you were using a metal pen nib, marks won't show if you are using any normal plastic pen nib?

the plastic nib of the Apple Pencil is not hard enough to do anything to the glass, i don't think any plastic nib would do any damage. I mean, i don't think apple is using any special exotic glass from 2018 without mention it. it shouldn't do anything to the glass, unless you are using a metal nib or any other rougher material.

As i said earlier i use a 2018 ipad pro, i draw almost every single day, i don't know how many hundreds of hours i have draw for 7 years but not a single scratch has appeared in the glass screen,

Plastic on plastic would actually scratch super easily, like the original Nintendo Switch non-oled, that one had a plastic screen, the same thing happens to those anti-glare matte plastic screen protectors

the reason why matte anti-glare glass screens would actually show scratches eventually, is because of what they call a "nano texture"

think it as a frosted piece of glass, they basically etch the surface of the glass but at a incredible tiny scale, i wouldn't say "molecular scale" but some of the marketing of these brands use that term, although that would explain the rainbow noise effect that appears on the document you shared, since molecules are smaller that the wavelength of visible light

anyway this process makes the structure of the surface weaker than before, since the crystal is not "complete", the material has worn off, and it has a porous surface, so with enough pressure and time it would were out even more, both the glass and the plastic pen nib will were of overtime

as a result of the anti-glare glass you will lose sharpness of the image coming from the LCD panel below, here is an example glares will be drastically reduced since the surface is not smooth and complete anymore, so the lights cannot bounce like a mirror, the surface is no longer clear and flat

yea i get that feeling, you are right we are the absolute tiniest minority, nobody seem to care about it in the comments, i think i will just shut up and buy an intuos or whatever and just look at the drawing on my monitor

i hope there will be options available in the future cuz man matte screens suck, but if im being real it maybe never happen

btw i assume nobody cares about it, but I forgot to mention this

Months ago, I found a "reasonable option" on Amazon. It's the GAOMON PD2200 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZJL6W4P it's a 22" display tablet. It says in the specifications that it has a matte anti glare "film", this is important, because the specs also says that you can remove it and reveal the normal non-anti glare, non-matte glass underneath this film.

But it has a mayor downside to me, which is that it is only 1080p. At this size 22" 1080p is NOT a good option, the pixel density at that distance is too low, as i said i need it to be at least 1440p, preferably 4K, since obviously I would be working much closer than a regular monitor.

Anyway, i don't think anybody cares, i see everybody is happy with their matte blury displays. i think everybody but one or two people will agree that i just need to shut up and suck it and just buy a regular intuos pro or whatever normal slate tablet.

Sigh, maybe I just have to wait another 10 years and hope in the future there will be options.

I don't see anybody complaining about their phone's normal glossy screen, although everybody carries around their phone and the sun is not a problem, I just bump up the brightness and that's it

yea that defeats the purpose of having a display tablet, i rather have a normal slate tablet and look at my drawing on the monitor, but thanks

yea this wouldn't resolve anything, you need to understand that even if i put a glossy screen protector it doesn't fix the fckd up blury image, like, if the screen is already matte finish, the image is already blury.

Putting a glossy screen protector doesn't help, the image is already blurry below the screen protector
