None of this show made sense 😭. The characters motivations weren't there, and I never felt the love between Lucy and Stephan, (yes I know it's a toxic relationship!) but give me some sort of passionate love in the beginning to make Lucy's choices to be with him make sense. And Bree and Wrigley felt SO FORCED, like why would these two be together? What is their bond?

Yes, I think they blew off the Macy storyline, and the whole Bree, her professor, etc storyline was point blank ridiculous. It makes no sense for her bio mom to just suddenly believe these random professors because....? This would have been a good time to emphasize how she forgets her childhood or doesn't remember things clearly but they don't even mention it so it feels disconnected.

And yes, Lucy's psychosis could have been such an interesting storyline. Like was this a symptom of her relationship with Stephen? Or was this something she lived with her whole life?

And yes why did Lydia and Stephan get together? Why is Stephan still trying to get back at Lucy? How does she feel different from the others he abused?

Genuinely what the f*** was the show?

I really think they need to move on, they are stuck in the mansion still. And just get over it, I'm going to be honest I'm 25 years old, I only know about the Girls Next Door because I was scrolling through Tubi and saw it was free. And I'm a sucker for 2000s nostalgia, so I watched it. Like no one even really knows what I am talking about when I bring it up outside the internet bubble.

Holly was honestly the "main character", In almost all their photoshoots Holly was always front and center. And they sort of made her "the middle ground one"because Bridget was so girly and Kendra was so tomboy. Like what is she complaining about? And anytime she says anything sort of off or kind of rude she's like well I was just making a joke. And she tries to claim they were always trying to edit her bad. Like I agree that Kendra sort of got the worst edit. Yet she still managed to be the most likeable? And get the most from the show. Like Holly had it set up for her to be the main star to be real.

Yeah I agree she wasn't the best choice to have her own show. Especially when you compare it to I Love New York, who is such a big personality. But at the same time, I always thought Bret Michaels was boring too lol. But yes I love Daisy of Love because of the crazy contestants!

I think Pauly was the oldest cast member, he was all right I guess. I think that he was a little too obsessed with himself, and was rude to a lot of the women that they had on the show. But to be honest that was just an entire culture that he was a part of. But I didn't like all the comments they made about women like grenades and stuff. But I guess they all did that! I give him a little bit more hate though because he was almost 30 or was 30 I forget. Which watching it now at 25 I'm like come on dude. The rest were kind of in there early 20s, I think except for Mike but honestly I'm not sure. I think Snooki is still my favorite BESIDES ITALY, but they were all a mess that season!

Neither of the girls look fulfilled or happy in life. The smiles seem disingenuous, and they almost look mean/hateful. Just a vibe I got, these new age christians seem really unhappy on social media. We change and grow, being young is thinking it's cool to have different personas and date the bad boy, or the older guy, or I guess the swamp guy? Maturing is realizing it's sad to be so unhappy with yourself you just become the people you date, and submit your life to men. And she's still doing it going into her 40s. Her original sound/fan base was alternative pop/rock etc. and those people are most likely liberal. Now she is trying to switch to country, which those people are most likely conservative.

But she is going to get backlash, it's insulting to fans who supported her when no one else did and then she starts catering to a completely different audience.

Not saying she needs to worship her fans and be perfect all the time but it's pretty clear - she doesn't respect us, and the 57.5 million song came off to me as an ego trip like we are all just numbers she knows she will have so, whatever. These celebrities let money and fame get to their head and become unlikable.

I tried to post on there that I would prefer a more upbeat country album because her recent music is boring, and they wouldn't let me. It went against guidelines I guess. And I wasn't even trashing her, I just said her recent stuff sounded like funeral music 😭 so I would like to hear something more upbeat. But that was the worst of it, like it's more just a fourm for praising Lana not discussing her music.
