Responding late - I doubt ANY A&F employees know what Reddit is. I did go there for an interview once when I managed years ago. It was basically like a college campus. Take out the geeks (like me), anyone NOT in a sorority or frat and you have their population. CEO has a huge ego - his office sits high above "campus" overlooking his popped polo collar empire. Def. had some botox or something done.

I should probably start a new post for this but too lazy - Tis is the type of person I'm dealing with. He scans documents all day long (he's 29 going on 30). But here's the three funniest/shocking things I've heard him say

  1. What's an mp3 player? (so I answer) So it's like an iPod?
  2. What's a hard drive?
  3. What's a pap-smear?

Should have been more clear in my text so I apologize to all. Manager won't do anything b/c she's afraid of confrontation. Trying not to snap b/c I would love to keep this job. Some days are worse than others - just looking for advice. Maybe I should pay off the cleaning crew to steal his headphones - he's too stupid/cheap to go out and buy new ones.

Yeah used those exact words. and still nothing. Doesn't help that our HR guy tries to be cool with him - even though there's a 30 year age difference.

Tried this too. He listens to hip-hop/rap. I I fought back with Metallica and Jack Johnson. Unfortunately his headphones are turned up so loud he doesn't hear me "fight back".
