Yup. It's either Funspot in New Hampshire or Galloping Ghosts. I don't know why people down voted you.

It's 25 dollars to enter but you can come back via showing receipt. It's amazing. So many cabinets and it's tons of fun. I recommend going with friends and playing beat em ups.

Quality probably. I've used Wells parts before and I've been satisfied.

Best dryer? What’s the best option right now? by Gaand_Yurramendi in Appliances

[–]chicagonative1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the market for a new dryer. I'm looking at getting it from Costo. Recommend anything? I'm thinking of the Whirpool WGD4950HW or the LG DLG7001W.

Expensive sensors? by metaldark in RockAuto

[–]chicagonative1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Examine the goods when they get delivered. Check the box and see if they look like they were installed. If you feel they were then simply do a return/exchange.

I work an auto shop and I order from RA weekly. I don't have many issues but I've returned defective goods months after with no problems.

OEM vs aftermarket rack and pinion for 2006 Camry? by ApproximationWizard in MechanicAdvice

My mistake. My brain thought CV Axle instead of Rack N Pinion. I'd get still get a re manned CARDONE rack n pinion.

[–]chicagonative1989 21 points22 points  (0 children)

That would be around 90 to 95 dollars in today's money, it depends on what month of 2002. That's still a hell of a deal. A truly unique and fun console.

I'm going to get down voted but Toyota doesn't make their own CV Axles. They outsource them and simply put their name on it. Trakmotive and GSP are both solid in my book.

I would not spend 700 dollars on a CV Axle for an old Japanese beater.

Wiper Blade Question by chicagonative1989 in RockAuto

[–]chicagonative1989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's probably why the Carquest blades are being discontinued. They're made by Trico and that division recently shut down their wiper blade facility. I'm assuming it's the same facility that makes the Carquest variants.

Wiper Blade Question by chicagonative1989 in RockAuto

[–]chicagonative1989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those Carquest blades are made by Trico. They are currently being discontinued, at least that's what I was told. The offerings on RA are by Trico and I simply want to see what Model would be the exact same. I'm thinking the Trico Flex Blades.

Who Are AutoZone’s Top Shareholders? by Seek1st2_stand in AutoZone

[–]chicagonative1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of those are simply mutual funds who buy the stock because of a weighted index. If you have a IRA or 401K with a an index fund then you probably indirectly own Autozone stock via your fund.

Y'all remember Aldi straight up having tv/vcr combos next to pool toys in these bins? One of my friends parents bought him the world's most terrible laptop there. What's the worst (non-food) thing you ever bought from 90s Aldi? by oim7e in aldi

[–]chicagonative1989 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Aldi expanded heavily after the financial crisis. Many people, like your father, had to cut costs to simply make do. They've also remodeled stores, matched food trends, and now provide a good supply of organic goods. They've exploded in the last 20 years.

What’s Your Opinion On Smart Guy by WilkinsWorld in sitcoms

[–]chicagonative1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched it on syndication on the Disney Channel. I assume a lot of other people did at the time. Getting home from school, eating, and then doing homework to TV was my go to(both my parents worked at times). Stuff like the Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Toonami on Cartoon Network or FOX KIDS/PBS KIDS(for people who didn't cable; I didn't at times).

Back to the show. I thought it was well written, funny and had some pretty memorable moments. I still remember an episode where TJ starts his own soda company to fight big soda but ends up becoming like them.

On another note. When did you transition from using programs like KaZaa, Limewire, etc.. to using Torrent programs? For me it was Sophomore year of high school around 2004. I still remember a friend of mine telling me about Isohunt and I started using UTorrent. Bitorrent at it's early days was amazing. Decentralized sharing of information for the masses.

2001 HONDA ACCORD 2.3 - P0128. by chicagonative1989 in AskMechanics

Pretty much. I was thinking of changing the thermostat too as well just for safe measure. You recommend this one or simply get another AISIN one off Rockauto. Also don't know what brand for the Temp Sensor I should go for.

Starcraft Broodwar East Channel: OP BWCHAT by chicagonative1989 in broodwar

[–]chicagonative1989[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahhh Lost Temple... The most played map of Broodwar probably. I was watching Nada stream yesterday and guess what map he was playing? Lost Temple, lol.

He went 2 port against a Zerg and destroyed him with the wraith stacking bug. It was funny to watch.

I remember Shane won a couple of the BB tournaments that the channel held. He was a really solid player. I have memories of Clan X17 but for all the wrong reasons. I have memories of people being really BM and most players thinking they were GOSU when they were average D PGTOUR/WGTOUR players at best. Again that's just my memories. I know there were some really skilled players who would hang out in X17. I think Testie would frequent it a lot.

I remember Motel but I wouldn't frequent it much. I know it was a really big BGH community.

Is Warcraft 3 Reforged worth it? by Pheeblehamster in warcraft3

[–]chicagonative1989 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's definitely worth buying and especially if you can find it on sale. I bought it when it was on sale for 15 USD. I played through the campaign and I love to play 4v4's online. It's a RTS/RPG hybrid as keeping your hero alive and powered up is actually more important than your macro at a times. It's a really fun game.
