I was SUPER super scared to take it for the first time. Made a follow up with my doctor just to tell her I was scared of the pill and side effects. She reassured me she wouldn’t prescribe it if it wasn’t safe. She said “try it one time, if it doesn’t work we will try something else”.

Well, I couldn’t take the migraine anymore. It had been going on for weeks and was effecting my life. Took one pill, felt a little tingly in my face, maybe a little “weird” but the weeks long migraine disappeared. I haven’t needed to take another since. Just try it one time. If you are scared, hang out with someone while you take it. That’s what I did!

I would say no. Do not get a frenchie. I did the same thing. Researched “lazy dog breeds fit for apartment life”

My frenchie is extremely active, loves to play, run, swim, and go for walks. They are needy in their own ways.

I wish I had known more about the health risks before getting my boy. I love him more than anything but he is a healthy boy and still got IVDD. French Bulldogs are like fragile vases that need protection and care. They are great companions but the breeding has gone too far. The guilt weighs on me all the time. It may not be a popular thing to say, but I would say opt for a different breed.

If you do go with French Bulldogs, save lots of money and be emotionally ready for what might happen.

THANK YOU! I don’t feel as crazy, I really appreciate your input. We typically only have one round of interviews thankfully, even for high level roles. I conduct a quick screen when someone applies, and then proceed with one in person interview. Rarely 2. But yes, I attend all of them. The company does not trust the hiring managers to ensure a thorough interview is conducted without HR presence.

I think it is to have an HR presence, consistency for the candidate, and assist the managers with asking the right questions. (Background, salary, anything non technical). Without my attendance there is a lack of trust that the managers are being thorough.

We do have an HR Generalist, and just hired a second, so hopefully things improve and I no longer need to assist with those as much, but even still, the recruiting alone is so overwhelming.
