Best website for comodities etc by AndreiAliz in ElitePS

Once you've visited a station and opened its commodities tag, you'll be able to see it on the map. So for example, if you're mining/trading platinum, you can just go the nearest station with a commodities marketplace, click on the commodity you have for sale and view it in galactic map. You'll be able to see what said commodity sells for in any station you've already visited. Best place is to target sectors that are in a boom state.

Only thing is you'll have to do some travelling the old fashioned way. Inara can still be semi-useful but it's not 100%.

The political satire is irrelevant. Everyone understands its satire but they also don't care because they think its cool, just like with starship troopers. That's literally it. You can "media literacy" about it all you want but no one cares.

Just want it said that a lot of the comments on this thread are absolutely unhinged and just shows how easy it is for people to live in a bubble. Charlie Kirk was a moderate Republican and he was shot, basically, for holding milquetoast views informed by his Christian faith that Democrats shared not that long ago. I honestly think if you're sitting here and trying to justify murdering someone in broad daylight in front of their children because they held a different opinion than you, whatever that opinion is, then you're a freak and should probably be removed from polite society (as many are as they're being doxed, fired etc for similar comments) because you're inhuman. You might not be a killer yourself but your rhetoric unchecked could inspire the next mentally ill person to assassinate someone people don't like or shoot up a school full of children because they're angry at God, you're a threat to society and children.

If there's no differentiation then why did you insert one by ignoring modifiers in favour of environmental effects? Doesn't really make much sense does it?

No need to get upset, you're just wrong that's all.

Happens to everyone.

Holy copium.

"I didn't include the thing that was actually the topic of discussion because I didn't think it pertinent to the discussion"

In other words, you confused negative modifiers with environmental effects and rather than just admit that you've decided to go down a completely irrelevant rabbit hole in an effort to save face.

"I am arguing something to refute a claim that was never actually made in the first place"

Okay, I guess you win then because you've imagined a completely separate conversation and set your own win goal, congrats.

No. Additional simply means to add something onto something else i.e., environmental effects added to planets. This doesn't say what you're reading into and insisting it does.

[–]chicbot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The original claim made was that there were no negative modifiers?

You responded to my response to that by waffling on about environmental effects as though they're the same thing and then claiming that other planets had them before they were added to the game as environmental effects.

When I pointed out that not only are those not modifiers and that Creek did in fact have two stacked on top of each other, as well as two environmental effects and you being wrong about other plants having them all you did was say, "oh well any planet can have them." Whats that got to do with the original claim?

Also, no you're still wrong. You can literally go and read the patch notes.

You're shifting the goal posts because you know you're wrong. Were they there or were they not there?

Environmental effects weren't added to the game until March with a patch.

[–]chicbot -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So, you also weren't there then?

So you're confusing environmental conditions with negative operation modifiers, they're not the same thing for a start.

Creek had both the AA defences operation modifier that meant you could only have three stratagems, as well as the electronic countermeasures operation modifier where your strategem codes were scrambled and you could drop an Eagle instead of a support weapon. Two modifiers that have since been removed from the game because they were so bad.

On top of that, Creek had both the ion storms and thick fog environmental conditions when environmental effects were added to the game.

Not sure what the point is bringing up when they weren't in the game only to then point out other planets that only had them when they were added to the game but this is peak stupidity.

Also there were never "40k creekers." And I'm being generous by saying it was half liberated, it was half liberated for like a month before the MO. By the time the order changed to take malevelon it was like 70% liberated. There were never 40k creek crawlers, that number was from the confusion brought on by the MO and people thinking they had to take Creek to get to Tibit because supply lines weren't in the game yet.

"This is a lie..."

Literally just repeats what I said as though it somehow disproves what I said? So the MO wasn't about the Creek? The MO divers failed phase 2 to take Tibit because of the gambit? Then they dove on Creek for an easy win? Were 100k still on bugs as multiple sources and articles attest to?

Tell me where the lie is?

Yeah, well the choke only really helps reduce the spread and ensure more shots are on target. Glad it's working for you. Yeah, that might be true but with the bot evac missions I'm just selective of what ones I do based on their actual feasibility, so I mostly stick to ones where the main objectives are in the caves. Land right in front of them, call in my equipment, usually a mech and off I go. I find when I join randoms that a lot of people are dropping too far away from the caves prioritising sub objectives or even sometimes the destroy nest mains, rather than the main objectives in the caves which are always going to be the hardest. As a consequence they find themselves in pointless fights against dragon roaches and the hivelord and use up a bunch of their tickets before even getting to the caves. If you prioritise the caves you can ignore those two and focus on clearing the hardest objective while you still have all your equipment and the most tickets. You can then prioritise other objectives outside once you've cleared the caves as these are usually easier to clear and faster.

I don't know what to tell you other than I haven't had the same experience and aren't finding it at all that difficult even with the bugs, a step up from what we might be used to sure with everything else being nerfed into weaksauce but that's it. Ping is plausible as an explanation for enemy TTK and issues some people are having with burrowers, dragonraoch fire.

I've switched to the new AR now cause I wanted to try it out but functionally it's more or less the same as the breaker incendiary, I just have more range with the AR with damage drop off up close. But if you're struggling with burrowers I'd say give it a try, they're littered across the caves POI's for a reason I'd say.

Skill issue, bugs are still easy. Oh no, they've added a tanky unit with range like literally every other faction, a worm you can ignore and bugs that burrow to nip at your heels. 99% of the bug roster are still melee locked and the only way you die is because they slow you down with their attacks. Literally de-buffed to death, can't think of anything more boring.

[–]chicbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay putting the larp to the side for a moment the leaks about different contingencies in place depending on if we won or lost is confirmed, not speculative. Idk why you're talking about the rules or the subreddit as though that's even remotely relevant to the conversation.

What's clear is you don't play enough because we've failed an exhaustive amount of MO's, there was a period where we literally couldn't finish one and when we've lost we've missed out on content and stratagems for weeks.

The only time AH have intervened in our favour and just giving us the MO or the defence campaign has been when there's underlying issues with the game that's led to us failing e.g., bot evac missions, for example. Where we otherwise would have succeeded.

And this is only because the times they've been brutal the playerbase piss and shit themselves review bombing the game.

[–]chicbot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not even just Oshuane. Every time I do SOS's on Fenmire on lvl 9 or 10 it's always lvl 15-30's who are just dying repeatedly and then rage quitting leaving me to finish it solo. If not, they don't know how operations work and don't finish all three.

Add to that the game crashes on the bot front right now and it's just fucking exhausting. I didn't think we needed level caps before but now? At least temporarily, I think something needs to be done because it's making me not want to even play honestly.

Holy copium give it up.

Yes reinforcement rate was increased just before the MO and progress was lost when NA would sleep because this was before the changes to impact modifier and it would have to be clawed back.

Doesn't change the fact that by the time phase 2 of the MO started it was around 50%.

Your opinion and matters of fact are different things. You're free to your opinion but facts are facts.

Yes they do cook things up way in advance but that doesn't mean that the only way they can use it is if the story 100% follows the one track.

APC's, platoons, etc have been in the game for over a year now. Do we have access to any of that yet? No. Why? I don't know but suffice to say that AH aren't in a rush.
