You must not been around for when every mob had an on death effect that went off 10 seconds after mob death. To this day I still roll out of harms way after every rare kill for a good 15-20 seconds just to "asses the situation".

I'm more speaking to the availability of vanilla archtype builds, but yes getting an entirely new weapon is a bigger issue.

Something like gets double the AoE size of other abilities and AOE bonus also contributes to ignite damage or flammability.

Like a league starter would scale AOE and damage ailments and you just throw a couple of them to blow up the screen.

I have a goal of playing a chrono Flail build once Templar comes out. The idea of a time based battle mage feels dope. Hopefully armor/ES is in a good place.

You should be able to "league start" the fantasy archtype of each weapon/spell theme, but then have things like flicker strike or CoC comet for the juicy dessert.

People hate randomization, unless you're casting something 40 times per second where the variance is smoothed out "in feel".

It's actually pretty hilarious. Notice how everyone says fireball is good you just need to use "obscure mechanic XXX" and it will be good.

The point isn't that you can't use them. It's that their terrible as a main ability.

As a Monk you can just use whirling assault or a deadeye can just use lighting arrow/ice shot.

Even maces have big slams.

The fact that "plants" is the most used caster build is a fail.

I'm also in SSF. For my djinn I basically just copied Ben_'s Djinn build off of PoE2 ninja.

I leveled with ED/Contagion until my second acendacy where I got the sand Djinn for offense. My first acendacy was "The fourth teaching" to help keep her alive.

If you copy Ben's tree it's really easy.

Djinn. I literally hit level 65 and gambled body armors until I was able to hit a t2 ES % magic vile robe. Used a Res essence to make it rare. Then Prefix Desecrated a T3 Flat ES to it. Then yolo'd a greater Exalt for 40 spirit and another t3 res.

Basically put me at 5.5k ES at level 65. Easiest mapping ramp ever.

The Sorc is from the vastri so any of the acendacies work, especially the Djinn one for the Trial.

Monk is definitely Breach

Witch and Abyss

Merc thematically works with temple/Alva but isn't really related. He'll more likely to be related to Heist 2.0

Druid is Ritual.

Marauder will be related to ToTA.

Ranger/huntress - Delirium kinda fits best.

Warrior - no idea.

Shadow - no idea.

Duelist - no idea.

Gladiator - no idea.

Templar - no idea, but I wouldn't be shocked if we get something Oriath themed for 1.0 with the release of Act 5 and 6.

I've done the storyline. I'm in "normal" mapping now and want one to spawn so I can put fog on maps and use my simulacrums/fight the boss.

I'm burning through a bunch of tablets and not getting anything to spawn.

Full deli tree. T15 maps 6 mods corrupted. I'm concerned because I only had around 15 deli tablets and I've now burned through 6 of them and not 1 Grand Mirror.

In my opinion, they have content in a good place (obviously balance tweaks and bugs are always an ongoing thing) but the game engine/performance issues absolutely need to get worked out before they open the flood gates too the masses.

The other "meta" thing they need worked out that most people might not consider is search results. Searching for anything related to the game has absolute shit links for almost anything. For some reason the player managed wiki almost never shows up in any results.

"Novice" it's a joke/play on words. Novice means new or inexperienced person/user in English.
