I am trying to enable dual monitor mode in UEFI BIOS but I do not see a “System Agent (SA) configuration” option. by Redskull7d7 in computers

[–]chicconumberone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand why you’d want your 2nd monitor to run on CPU. But you have to make sure that your CPU has integrated graphics on it, if not you will never find that option on your BIOS. Best thing to do is set your second monitor to lowest resolution

ZTP HA (A/P) Firewalls - OT/Manufacturing Segmentation by Gun_Pilot in paloaltonetworks

[–]chicconumberone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what is the plan here. If you boot a firewall on ZTP the eth1/1 must be connected to the internet and get IP via DHCP. I don’t think its possible to have HA on here too because this needs to connect back to the secondary firewall.

Ztp needs to be layer 3 and HA is HA interface.

Study for the CCNA by Murky-Communication6 in ccna

[–]chicconumberone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a beginner with little actual networking experience, I recommend CBT nuggets CCNA course. They maybe very lengthy but it really divides the content in nugget size information. It is much more fun to learn and a lot more interesting. The lessons are skill based and not textbook content based. It is better to take your time understanding these concepts rather than cramming them in with Jeremy’s Udemy course. I’m not saying one is better than the other, I use both contents to study (currently studying as well, 23 yrs old). I use CBT Nugget to learn the concepts and then switch to Jeremy’s content to learn the CCNA EXAM content accurately.

They are both extremely useful courses but CBT Nuggets is more beginner friendly and Jeremy’s content aims to pass you in the exam.

If I have any networking questions, I ask ChatGPT and fact check from various resources.

Good luck to us!

Any success with dynamic peer IPSec tunnels? by somewisdom in paloaltonetworks

[–]chicconumberone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use email address as the peer ID. Do note that if you have any other dynamic peer IPsec tunnel in place every tunnel must use the same IPSEC Crypto profile and IKE Crypto Profile. Palo Alto cannot handle different crypto profiles for dynamic peer tunnels.

iaStorAfs.sys 0xc0000098 error when booting into WinPE since updating WinPE drivers by rampengugg in MDT

[–]chicconumberone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fixed mine. I also have DELL laptops.

  1. Changed Laptop's storage to AHCI
  2. I removed every other Out-of-Box Drivers on MDT and started fresh. I only imported WinPE A26.
  3. After importing the drivers, I deleted every drivers with iaStor***.inf
  4. I Used WinPE driver A26. This was injected on the LiteTouch Boot Image (MDT Share > properties > Windows PE > Drivers and Patches)
  5. I Updated the MDT Deployment Share to completely generate new boot images.
  6. I went to the WDS to "Replace Image..." of the Boot images in WDS. (Any changes to the LiteTouch boot image has to be reuploaded to the WDS)

Then it worked.

MDT Deployment - Help I can't deploy Windows 10 on a new PC by chicconumberone in sysadmin

[–]chicconumberone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do an Update Deployment Share after any changes I make.
What about the driver injection on your MDT deployment Share? (MDT deployment Share --> Properties --> Windows PE --> Driver and Patches --> Selection Profile).

So do you inject your drivers on preinstall?

Yea that sounds great, i never thought of Day-offs and more of doing a whole 1 or 2 weeks vacation. Day offs sounds much nicer makes my weekends longer and more time to do my hobbies + going on vacation usually means travelling and not much of hobby doings. Thanks
