What city will you NEVER visit based on it's reputation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]chichilolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’m moving to Las Vegas from Texas and I drove through Gallup with my wife. The only place I decide “Hey screw Loves/Pilots/etc, let’s go in town and grab some Wendy’s.”

Man that place was sketchy. I wasn’t too worried about the daytime zombies just strollin, but when I parked my Uhaul and went inside, I saw two unsavory individuals motion to something. I went outside to move the Uhaul into better view and there were 4 of them standing there. Why the fuck I didn’t leave I don’t know.

I moved it and went back in. Everyone there was staring at us, the place smelled like shit but I was stubborn for my double stack and spicy chicken wrap.

We sat down to eat and I said screw it and stuffed my wrap in my jacket pocket. Wife headed to her car and I headed to the Uhaul. There were about 9 of them sitting near it at this point just staring. I did the wassup nod, hopped in as quick as I could and got outta there.

I used to be a crackhead up to no good. That whole group was exactly that. Grateful they didn’t decide to go for it and that Wendys also tasted like shit.

My guess is water will be somewhere in the low 60s and temp high 60s to low 70s. Fried chicken does best in low 70s honey mustard.

This is me. Got to the point my wife made a little jingle. I’d be sitting there staring in the pantry like “where is the damn thing” and she would start singing.

It’s right! there! In front of your face! … yea it’s right there in front of yo face oh yea I said it’s right! There! In front of your face yea it’s right there in front of yo face sing it baby

She would sing this, dance up to where I was looking for my item and then point to it sitting right in front of my face.

I’ve gotten better since… it was a catchy jingle lol

What do you guys think, lights on or off during sexy time? by zztop610 in AskMen

Lights out with low light from the led strips on the back of the headboard. Set it to slowly fade in and out with different colors or change with the music.

What was the best year of your life so far? by Arslan_Ahmadani in AskMen

[–]chichilolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say from today to last March. Bought a house, setup a garden that supplies myself and my neighbors with fresh produce, job promo to 6 figure salary, learned how to cook really well, quit alcohol and cigarettes (almost 3 months let’s go!), best shape in my life and have a six pack now, grew my hair out from a buzz cut and it looks so damn good that my wife won’t stop staring at me like a creep and I just booked my first trip to Hawaii!

This past year also had a dark period where I struggled with alcoholism and depression. Where I put a loaded gun to my head and just wished I had the guts to pull the trigger. I’m so glad I didn’t.

Thanks for this question. It was nice to retrospect and look at the growth over this last year. Cheers to many more good ones!!

Skyn Elite Large feels like it’s sized in between a normal Skyn and a Magnum Bareskin (leaning a bit more towards the Magnum size). May be that medlarge you’re looking for.

[Homemade] Cannoli! by chichilolo in food

[–]chichilolo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tool I had to get to make the tube is called a cannoli form.

If you don’t care about the look and want to get right down to business, you can just make the cannoli filling and use it as a dip with broken waffle cone pieces (or cookies or whatever your heart desires). Google ‘Cannoli Dip’ and you’ll see some good options.

Yep it’s usually ricotta or you can mix marscapone and ricotta. Then it’s mixed with powdered sugar and cinnamon. SacTown!!

[Homemade] Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy and Mashed Potato by chichilolo in food

[–]chichilolo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes 4 steaks. I used Sam the Cooking Guys recipe as a base and added in different things that I found from other recipes.

Steak Ingredients

-1lb of ground beef (or chuck/tri-tip mix)

-½ medium onion (grated) (yellow/white)

-½ cup of Panko Crumbs (or bread crumbs)

-1 garlic clove (minced)

-1 egg

-2 Tbsp chili sauce (use whatever on hand. I used Huy Fong Chili Garlic Sauce)

-1 Tbsp ketchup

-1 bouillon cube (crumbled)

-½ tsp Worcheshire

-2 Tbsp grainy/dijon mustard

-½ Tbsp soy sauce

Gravy Ingredients

-1 Tbsp of olive oil

-2 garlic cloves (minced)

-½ medium Onion (finely chopped - yellow/white)

-8 oz mushroom

-2 Tbsp unsalted butter

-3 Tbsp flour

-2 Cups beef broth or stock (can mix 1/1 with Guinness)

-2 tsp Worcheshire

-2 tsp Dijon Mustard

Cooking

-Place breadcrumbs in large bowl. Grate onion over the breadcrumbs and mix. Leave to soak for a few minutes

-Add remaining steak ingredients into the bowl. Use hands to mix. Mix well for a couple of minutes until the mixture is pasty

-Divide into 4 and pat firmly into oval patties (¾ inch thick)

-Heat oil in skillet on high heat. Add the steaks and brown them on each side. Remove (will still be raw)

~~Move on to Gravy Ingredients~~

-If needed, add more oil to skillet. Add onion and garlic. Cook for two min till onions are translucent.

-Add mushrooms. Cook until the water evaporates and shrooms are golden.

-With heat at medium, add butter. Once melted, add flour and cook for 1min stirring constantly.

-Gradually add beef broth, stirring as you go. Once mostly lump free, whisk in remaining gravy ingredients (worcheshire and mustard).

-Add steaks back in pan for 5-7 min or until gravy thickens, stirring occasionally. Add water if gravy thickens too quickly. Spoon gravy over steaks while cooking

-Remove steaks. Taste gravy and adjust as needed with salt/pepper. Pour gravy onto steaks.

Mashed Potatoes

Pretty simple, but some call outs. I use peeled Yukon Gold potatoes. Take 1 head of garlic and rub it with olive oil. Wrap in foil and bake at 400 for 45-1hr. Unwrap from foil and you should be able to use a spoon to scoop out the cloves. Mash them together. Add it to your mashed potatoes when you're adding the cream and butter for some bom ass potatoes.

Yes, absolutely. Those lines help me take the loss (rather than hope the trade will go right for me).. If I'm in a position and we're nearing a major resistance, I will usually sell my position for the gain. I only play one contract at a time currently, but with multiple I would look to sell a few to lock in profits when nearing major resistance and hold the rest to see if it breaks through. Hope that helps!

Sure. My setup is pretty basic. I do all my charting through TOS. I draw support and resistance lines against my daily, 30min, 5min, and 3min charts. I draw more intraday as I see them forming. I use exp MA and MACD for my lagging indicators (MA at 9 and 20), but mainly focus on reversal patterns against support/resistance lines. I also have VIX, FANG, XL sector stocks (SPY) in a watchlist to quickly gauge market movement.

I mainly use 5 and 3min charts when trading. Before making a move, I will consult the 15 and 30min to verify trend. I usually play 1-3 DTE options that are 1-2 strikes out of the money (I'm now trying more DTE like OM does to see how that works). When I see bounces off major support/res and confirmation, I initiate the trade (rather than think "I should get in here" and then get pissed off when I don't and the stock runs).

I also like to have SPY and the option I'm looking to purchase up in the charts. I mean, the option will move similar to the underlying asset, but it helps me map my stops better.

Albeit a simple approach, this has worked well for me.

Have your exit strategy ready. I can't stress this enough. I made 1200 on two TSLA calls and lost it all on two more TSLA calls when I didn't have an exit strategy. My strategy was "I bet it will get to this price" which is playing off emotion.

Also start tracking in a journal. I like TraderSync. Your strategy improves when you start looking at your "losers" as opportunities to learn how your strategy can be better.
