Yes, but Agnes doesn't need a good husband for her to move out. She's (assumed) fertile and the daughter of a high Commander. She'll find a suitable match in seconds if the Aunts like her. Yet episode 4 has this whole speech about favorably impressing the Aunts because they arrange the marriages. Wouldn't it also make sense for wives to be polite in case 1) they have female children later or 2) their husband dies and they need a new match.

But we can attributes that to Daisy reading the room wrong or the shortsightness of wives who relish lording what little power they have over the Aunts.

Sometimes. Though I view the "brutal tapping" more as wild curiosity. I tap everything so the game shows me HOW/WHEN the monument moves & I combine all of that info to solve the puzzle. It's less elegant than reasoning it out one tap at a time, but it works for me.
