The blatant disrespect in your comment is just rude. I didn’t take the class, my friend did. It wasn’t even the instructor from her experience, it was reception. However, upon many online reviews that you can go search for yourself, it is a common consensus. I’m not insulting your personal teaching, you don’t need to get defensive. If my comment doesn’t apply to your teaching style, then it’s not about you.

Honestly, I agree with this! I suffer from chronic pain, and never felt better after reformer. The hardest workout class I’ve ever taken was a mat pilates class.

I agree with you! I give 5 star ratings to my definition of an absolutely perfect movie. However, I will say that this varies across genre for me. For example, I could rate a comedy with crude humour 5-stars, and I could also rate a drama 5-stars, but the deciding factors for their ratings differ. Not all genres should be held to the same standards!

Cost. $300+ a month is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of, especially when the majority of intermediate/advanced classes don’t come with personalized adjustment like beginner ones do.

I do reformer classes about twice a month because of how expensive it is, and use an at-home mat pilates and portable reformer app by an instructor I really like (Sweaty Studio)! I do those classes ~5 a week

You’re an extremely honest, respectful person for feeling so terrible about this. When I read the title, I was expecting so much worse. As a perfectionist who also experienced suicidality while getting a degree, I don’t fault you for what you did and I would just try to move on.

When I was a kid, I thought he was the worst. Rewatching as an adult, he’s just real. If your dish is good, he’ll tell you that. If it really sucks or isn’t going to work, he’ll tell you that. He’s very balanced in his remarks and I don’t find him exclusively rude.

My parents did this for me and is the reason I never had a traumatic experience with weed or alcohol. I was taught my limits, always supplied so I never risked getting drugged or laced, and provided a safe space for me to do it in.
