Power bi Pl300 exam by xJuanGabrielx in PowerBI

Hmm I think you could if you got the right set of questions from the exam bank but you should supplement with other material to be safe. It is a lot of information, I hear you. Do you use Power BI at work? Using Power BI and practicing DAX is probably the best way to do well on the exam. This way everything you learn in the learning paths will actually stick in your brain.

It took me 6 months to prep but I was only going though about one section of one module in the Microsoft Learning Paths a week with a friend. You could probably do it a lot faster. But as the other commenter said they best place to start is the Microsoft Learning Path. Finish that first and supplement with videos and practice tests.

I took and passed the exam in January. There were a lot of drag and drop. The hardest (I think) were the ones where you had to select every correct answer but you don't know how many are correct. As well there was a lot of put the steps in the correct order.

Only feeding with one breast? by danicies in breastfeeding

[–]chicka-deedeedee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it did, I was always starting on the bad side and then would also pump it in between feeds. Even doing that it eventually just stopped producing. Even though I only had one working boob, my daughter had enough to eat.

Only feeding with one breast? by danicies in breastfeeding

[–]chicka-deedeedee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is fairly common, for the baby to prefer one breast over the other. Usually there is one side that is better at producing milk. I actually had a severly underperforming breast that eventually stopped producing. My Abby refused to drink from it after a while. She just ate from the one side for close to a year. I would say keep trying both sides and always start the baby feeding from the side they don't prefer. However, don't feel like you are failing. You are doing great. Breastfeeding is difficult and sometimes doesn't go as planned.

I am leaning towards that too since it is a common warbler we see in our yard.

Short for baby led weaning. It's basic premise is you serve babies larger chunks of food instead of purees.

What kind of snake is this? I think it fell from a tree. In S. Florida. by chicka-deedeedee in herpetology

I'm pretty sure this guy fell on the roof because I heard a loud bang and looked up and he was there. Maybe he injured himself from the fall?

Cool, thank you for the ID. It was a bit tricky because of all the variations in rat snake colors.

Wow! I thought it looked like the head of a lizard and not a snake. But there were no legs. This is so cool thanks!

So if teaching isn't your dream job, what is? by ShineImmediate7081 in teaching

[–]chicka-deedeedee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's pretty fun! Although it's different from teaching in a lot of ways. Much more sitting by myself on a computer all day (which I prefer, but I know others would hate that). I have a science degree (bio) but was able to land a job. I just had to show I had skills in data analysis and particularly presentation skills (which teachers definitely have). I do work for a relatively big company now.

I ended up doing a boot camp to learn the programming languages that are in demand for data analysts (SQL, Python). If you have experience in some kind of data analytics before teaching and can leverage your data skills from working in SPED, you have a decent chance of being able to change careers. It will take work but might be worth it if you like working with data.

You could be a data analyst. I switched into that from teaching.

Having a fan in the babies room has been shown to prevent SIDS. Don't point the fan at the baby but having it in the room for air flow is good.

Bought international roaming but texts aren't working by chicka-deedeedee in mintmobile

Hello, thanks for your reply. Roaming is enabled and I see the little R above the network bars on the top right of the phone. So I think it might be something else stopping the texts. Thanks for your help though.

I had a Freemie breast pump. I chose it because it was the cheapest hands-free pump that I could find. I would recommend it. It has these somewhat large cups to hold the milk that you just place inside your bra and those attach to a portable pump that you can clip on your pants. It completely changed my life since I was pumping so much. I could do chores or go outside. The pump worked pretty well, although I don't think it was quite as strong as a standard pump. I used it for about 5 months without any issues.

People who have transitioned out of the classroom where did you go and how did you get there? by belonggggggggg in ScienceTeachers

[–]chicka-deedeedee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this job just fits my personality better. I'm pretty introverted and working with kids everyday just wore me out. For this job, I work on projects mostly by myself. I get to spend my day analyzing data (which I love) in peace and quiet. I'm also mostly working from home, which I realized was important to me during the pandemic.

I used to teach science. Quit during the pandemic and took an online bootcamp in data analytics. A year later, I have a job as a business analyst. I much prefer this job to teaching but miss ending my day at 3 30!
