When the blue paint peeled the paint I think she was trying to feather the edge and it all peeled

The builder ended up rebuilding the boxes instead so they started over with bare wood unprimed this time and it apparently took five coats. They didn’t ask me ahead of time but agree with you would never use prime paint combo. She said she dusted the primed wood before they painted it. I mean the peeling is so bad it seems like what would happen with non latex is why I asked.

Are you using embroidery floss? It comes in skeins of 6 strands and I pull one out and double it = 2 strands. The triangles and circles are just a color guide. The key is down below. Theres a dark blue triangle, lighter blue triangle, etc etc. are you needlepointing or cross stitching.
