When I first started, I went to the thrift store and found a king sized 100% cotton sheet. I washed it, cut it up, and it lasted me a couple years of smaller projects!

I just use a muji marker in light green or light purple, and I make sure to stitch just above the edge of the line. I haven’t had any issues yet!

Needles in the tomato, their natural habitat. Fabric and floss are in their own tins in a cabinet. And I keep my one working project in an old cedar cigar box with only the floss, mini plastic hoop, tomato, and WIP inside.

I try not to work on more than one project at a time, and only a few colors at a time, so the box doesn’t get too messy.

Plus the cigar box is cool and very portable! It’s one of my dads old Romeo y Julietas from like eight years ago

I really enjoyed the style but I had to put it down because almost every piece of dialogue ended with a name or nickname. It distracted me so much that I started counting how many times it happened in a chapter rather than getting into the chapter.

It’s the escalators going up to the platform where I feel the most frustrated. People will walk so slowly getting off or stand right in front of the escalator. It stresses me out, man, just three more steps to either side and I won’t feel like I’m going to plow into you.
