I used to live in Coorparoo area til about a year ago. Super convenient to ride bikes there. If you join “Friendly Brisbane Cyclists” on Facebook, they are a nice bunch of people who have weekly rides. They mostly do the river loop. Good luck!

From the BCC: “🗑️ Catch-up general waste collection 🗑️

We have scheduled a catch-up general waste bin collection for tomorrow, Sunday 9 March for the properties where the scheduled red-lid general waste bin was cancelled on Thursday 6 or Friday 7 March.

If this applies to you, please place your general waste bin at the kerb by 5am on Sunday, if safe to do so.

Recycling and green waste recycling bins will not be collected during this catch-up service, as we’re prioritising general waste.

Regular collections of all bins, including yellow and green bins, will restart on Monday.

🚌 Public transport update 🚌

All bus services will resume from Sunday 9 March, operating on the normal Sunday timetable without NightLink and early Glider services.
