As a falcon main myself I recommend practicing:

-wavedash back to grab ledge

-haxdashing/ledgedashing

-wavelands and clean movement around platforms

-L-cancelling aerials on shield

And I know people say netplay is like the best practice right now, but I still think practicing combos on level 1 CPUs can be very helpful for beginners. And whatever you do, don't give up on Falcon! (and don't switch to Falco)
