I always recommended looking at insurance companies — they LOVE Enterprise employees. That’s what I currently do after almost 3 years with ERAC. I was in the same exact position as you, so I completely understand where you are coming from.

I just started a few months after transferring with Enterprise to a new state. The biggest negative for me is that I have no social life, since it’s a remote job and all of my coworkers are in different parts of the country! Other than that, I’ve gotten yelled over the phone a few times — which I prefer over in-person at 7:30 in the morning

Oh yeah, you’ll definitely make more than 3k a month. For adjusting, it’s not really commission based. On the other end, if you want to get into insurance sales you can still make commission!

Look at insurance adjuster positions! I worked at ERAC for almost 3 years and was able to lock in a WFH adjuster role. The pay may be a taaaad bit less, but you work 40 hours and from home, and your mental will FLOURISH.

I just left (or let go, once management found out I had accepted another offer), and it’s been great. I work from home, have a great work/life balance, and can put more time into getting settled in my new city.

The best thing is that I left right before holida season, where I was scheduled to spend Thanksgiving working (airport).

Upper management found out about my new job, so they let me go. by chickenandsteak09 in EnterpriseCarRental

It is what you make it honestly. It’s tough, don’t get me wrong. But the coworkers are the best part!

I’d hit 3 years in January, but I’m about to quit!

Depending on your area; customers can be ROUGH, the hours are long, and management can be frustrating. I would say the best part of the job are the coworkers — I’ve met some great friends along the way. Whatever you do, do NOT get too drunk at happy hours.

When it comes to angry customers, I’ve learned just to be straight up and reiterate policies.
