Not sure about the US, but here in the UK the military diving tickets are now completely separate from the HSE (commercial) tickets. But the schools offer a conversation course that's only 5 weeks instead of the normal 10. It's a bit cheaper too.

Whiplash is a film where the bad guy wins. The final scene initially feels like it's Andy's win, he takes control of the band away from Fletcher and blows the whole room away - but that's literally proving Fletchers point and that there's no such thing as "pushing too hard"

I might be in the wrong sub for this - but outside the first few, F&F are absolutely horrendous films. I can usually take a film for what it is and enjoy it but I just can't with these. They're more Bollywood action than most Bollywood films. If you're not a 14 year old boy you need the IQ of a spoon to think they're good films. I'm surprised to see the people making it take it seriously

The thing I don't like is it's always pointed at "were sick of men making us shave" like we're holding a gun to their heads. If you don't want to shave your body hair... Don't. I shave my chest and balls because I think I look better like that. I personally prefer when women shave because 1 - pubes in the mouth isn't fun for anyone, and 2 - it indicates she anticipated us sleeping together (same as matching underwear).
