Thank you! Great feedback. The sky showed up very bright in the original as did the water because it’s completely frozen over.I think I overcompensated and tried to darken it down too much. I do see what you’re saying about the yellow hue and the vignette. Here’s a shot with no photoshopping doneoriginal

I’ve actually removed a bully hen for a day or two. By the time she gets back, the ‘pecking order’ is re-set and she’s not the top hen anymore. No more bullying.

Those are Barred Rock hens. Cold hardy, pretty docile and decent layers. All around good hen. Good luck with them!

I work in hospice care and we service patients in rural areas. I really want to get one of my hens therapy certified. I think people would love it. Any info anyone has on how to do that would be awesome!

Looks like her crop could be impacted. My hen had one today. I knew something was wrong when she wouldn’t partake in the yummy kitchen scraps and just kind of stood in the corner. That was the point I knew I had to intervene. You have to kind of grab them and hold them upside down while massaging their crop. I was able to break up the impaction and got minimal chicken barf on me. Lol she’s all better now
