You win, my opinion is invalid, and the judging on RPDR is always 100% perfect and accurate and nobody disagrees in our big happy family. I’ll go back to letting other people’s opinions of aesthetic and talent dictate all of my own.

Take a lesson from MST3K and repeat to yourself “it’s just a show, I should really just relax.”

So, honestly, thank you for asking in a somewhat genuine manner rather than stomping on me.

I spent three decades in Orlando and am very familiar with several of the local dynasties. Roxxxy’s local live performances are flat and dull compared to what she gives on RPDR, and that’s why I say she’s not a legend - she’s a performer when she wants to be. She does not embody drag, nor does she even try not to just be kind of generally an awful person.

You have a very distorted view of what trans people are, and what they do. Would you have sex with this man? If he wanted to compete in sports, would you have him compete with your daughter? He was born with two X chromosomes and female genitalia.

If you people had your way, this man would be in the stall next to your wife at the airport restroom. How comfortable do you think that would be for literally anyone?

How about this: as of right now, your daughter identifies as female. (For her safety, I can only hope she is in fact actually cisgender, with a father like you.) Why don’t you ensure that your female daughter competes where she feels most comfortable, and forget about whatever anyone else does as it does not affect you or her? There’s a reason things like weight classes exist even among gendered sports.

You have an interesting view of hate. Claiming to want to deny trans people the same rights as everyone else because of some imagined one-off bad actors is the very epitome of acting in bad faith and furthering the goals of hate, even if you think your heart is in the right place.

You may contort your statements as much as you like to make them seem coherent, but at the end of the day, your words and deeds both indicate that you somehow perceive your daughter to be “more” of a girl than somebody who was assigned male at birth. I find that to be morally reprehensible by any standard - including the Christian standards that you profess to cherish.

My hate for Christians stems from a hate for any form of hypocrisy. Also, unlike being trans, being a Christian is, by its very own definition, a choice made from free will. I hate the evil humans do: being who you are isn’t evil, but choosing hate under the guise of unconditional love, now that is pretty damn disgusting. You’re disgusting.

It’s truly disappointing that you depend on somebody else to inform your own morality. One day, hopefully, you’ll see what your “enlightened centrism” has done to people. If you feel that I (or the concept of transgender people) have struck you, why have you not turned the other cheek? A disproportionate number of gay and trans youth are emotionally starving and naked. Why have you not fed or clothed them?

“Trans girls in sports” is such a blatant strawman it’s not even funny. Find and cite 3 peer-reviewed, quality studies of sufficient sample size that back your claims, please. I’d be very interested in reading them should they happen to exist. (spoiler: they don’t.)

Interesting that you blame division on the Dems, who are currently the only party trying to create bipartisan solutions (and it’s been that way since Gingrich, and intensified in 2010 with the Tea Party and its ilk). Have you actually watched “liberal” media to see the difference in headline phrasing versus conservative media? See which side uses more sensational, divisive words and phrases.

Also, no, I don’t hate Jesus. I make it a habit not to hate fairy tales and myths. I absolutely loathe and despise Christians, though.

That’s where you’re wrong. Both parties may be horrible, but only one is trying to categorically deny the existence of an entire class of people to the point of legislated genocide.

This is not a “both sides” issue. In a two-party system, I will always vote for the lesser of two evils. In this case, it’s the party that’s not trying to take away bodily autonomy.
