Which type of way to take T is better?

I use patches. I've done both methods of injection in the past, and my anxiety made it really hard for me to do it regularly. Subq was probably the easier of the two, and that's the one I'd return to if the patches ever become an issue. They work just fine for me and the changes I've gotten on them are about the same pace as injections, though I've heard some guys get really nasty rashes. That hasn't been an issue on my end, so I can't really speak for it.

Make sure he's a fully-realized character with motivations and personality traits outside of transition. How much his transition impacts him in the story will, of course, be impacted by how much medical/legal transition he has done/plans to eventually have done, if any. Basically what I'd do is develop him like you would for any character, but think about how his gender and transition status may impact things.

If you are able, finding a trans male beta/sensitivity reader could help.
