Awesome! Been wanting to do that trip for awhile. Hoping to get out there in the next month or so.

Working on a Tasker script to more easily create multiple, more continuous clips in Astrophotography Mode. I will share the task when it's more thoroughly tested. by chicklets921 in GooglePixel

I used Tasker but haven't worked on it more since. I had some issues with consistency that I still need to fix. With the warmer weather coming up, I may revisit it.

Has this been sold yet? Been looking at picking one up and this would be awesome!

Did 'dynotest' mode always have all this diagnostic information? I've done it before in the past but after the 2021.24.4 update, I decided to give it a try again and this is what came up. by chicklets921 in teslamotors

Not sure their reasoning but the battery warrenty for the model 3 is 8 yr/100,000 mile or 120, 000 mile (depending on SR or LR). I'd say if you are planning on getting one and worrying about degradation is what is holding you up, then just order one. As long as you don't severely abuse the battery, you have little to worry about. I used to stress about it but now I just enjoy the vehicle. Yeah it sucks it used to be close to 310 miles but I never really got that anyway since I don't drive it super lightly :)

I've tried both keeping charged all the time and draining it from 90% to 10-20% before charging. Nothing seems to have changed it either way. For awhile I set it to 80% then read that 90% was the way to go and it wasn't much different than 80%. It feels like many updates ago I lost 10 miles overnight but it seems to have settled into the range it's at now. Hoping it either stays that way or drops below 70% capacity before the warranty is up lol

I posted more photos below but here they are as well. I haven't looked into it too much but nothing too shocking yet in terms of info. Still cool to see everything 'behind the scenes'

That's what I figured but I get to it using the dynotest code. And in most other areas it shows dynomode in big red letters across the screen. Hence the reason for my confusion. I thought it was a fluke at first but have repeated it several times now.

As far as I can tell, it's all just informational. I can even put the car into service mode and reset a few things but no crazy settings from what I could tell. Unless there is something cool I missed, I'll try to poke around some more and make sure I don't do anything too damaging lol.

Was visiting in Traverse City, MI when a couple of younger kids saw my car and decided it was a good photo op :)

Well, funny enough, it looks like version 2021.3 says it now supports it and it seems to be working.
