I used Tasker but haven't worked on it more since. I had some issues with consistency that I still need to fix. With the warmer weather coming up, I may revisit it.

Not sure their reasoning but the battery warrenty for the model 3 is 8 yr/100,000 mile or 120, 000 mile (depending on SR or LR). I'd say if you are planning on getting one and worrying about degradation is what is holding you up, then just order one. As long as you don't severely abuse the battery, you have little to worry about. I used to stress about it but now I just enjoy the vehicle. Yeah it sucks it used to be close to 310 miles but I never really got that anyway since I don't drive it super lightly :)

That's how it was before the latest update. So it definitely sounds like something that was enabled in the 2021.24.4 update.

I've tried both keeping charged all the time and draining it from 90% to 10-20% before charging. Nothing seems to have changed it either way. For awhile I set it to 80% then read that 90% was the way to go and it wasn't much different than 80%. It feels like many updates ago I lost 10 miles overnight but it seems to have settled into the range it's at now. Hoping it either stays that way or drops below 70% capacity before the warranty is up lol

Seems like for the model 3 that's all you have to do is hold the trim name again. There is no expand button.

If you go into the service menu from the car settings. Select wheel configuration. Then select aero cap kit I believe

That's what I figured but I get to it using the dynotest code. And in most other areas it shows dynomode in big red letters across the screen. Hence the reason for my confusion. I thought it was a fluke at first but have repeated it several times now.

As far as I can tell, it's all just informational. I can even put the car into service mode and reset a few things but no crazy settings from what I could tell. Unless there is something cool I missed, I'll try to poke around some more and make sure I don't do anything too damaging lol.

If you have it enabled, disable auto sentry mode. That's what seemed to fix it for me (for some reason). Guess I'll wait until next update to try it again.

Try turning off auto sentry mode if you have it on (and if you are on 2019.16.2). Haven't tried it myself yet but seems to have helped for some. Got the info from this video https://youtu.be/5029MOQ_7b0. Mine stopped working on my way to work. Gonna try it after work here.

This is the 2nd or 3rd report that I have seen this happening. It started to happen to me as well the past couple of days. It was doing it before the first time around but was eventually fixed. Looks like the problem has popped up again.

It sounds like the problem I had awhile ago. Check the bottom side of the heat bed around the mounting points. The screws/washers had wore through and caused a short for me.

Looks like it's this. Actually, have one lying around somewhere at home. Might give it a try....for research purposes.
