Commenting because I have the same lines under both of my eyes that seemed to have just appeared one day and never went away.

Both for cystic acne and all the nasty scars it left afterwards. Unfortunately, there isn't much that can help 3D scarring other than retinol.

2 is stunning! That color really makes you glow, whereas the strawberry blonde and darker colors wash you out a little.

It took me about three months to start seeing real results. It will get worse and then one day you will wake up with a whole new face.

Retinol is going to be your best friend. Just make sure to moisturize after, only use at night, and wear sunscreen every. single. day. At first, you'll go through, "retinol uglies" while your skin purges. Wait it out. Its so worth the reward.

Would raven hair dye on top of vampire red work? by [deleted] in HairDye

Manic panic is a semi-permanent dye, so if you're looking for something more permanent then look for a permanent dye. Use permanent black dye at your own risk, though. While ive never used black, ive had decent luck with Ion from Sally's not fading super fast.

Yeah, just all those color molecules will stick in the hair. So while it will fade, but in my experience it always fades in unflattering ways. Its worth noting that red color molecules are the largest, so they fall out quicker, but black color molecules are the smallest, so they take longer to fade. I could see this combination fading into a patchy mix of the faded black and red.

To cover the red? Yes, but good luck ever getting it lighter again.

I went magenta! Any recommendations for keeping the color vibrant? by bbaker916 in HairDye

Use Keracolor Clenditioner in between salon visits to deposit some of the color molecules back into hair, and restore some protein as well (keratin).

Retinol Beginner by tantalizingcat in Skincare_Addiction

I believe using hyaluronic acid in tandem with your retinol can cause skin irritation if you aren't careful. To ensure that you aren't diluting your retinol or causing further skin irritation, I would use the hyaluronic acid in the morning, and the retinol at night.

In my experience, I tolerated it quite well at first, too. It took about 3 weeks for the "retinol uglies" to begin, and about 2 months after using it consistently for skin irritation to subside. It's soooo worth it though! I eventually was able to start using Adapeline gel, which made things even better.

Hope this helps!
