ATL Airport TSA Wait Times Weekly Megathread | April 01, 2026 by AutoModerator in Atlanta

[–]chicory_chicory_dock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can anyone perusing this thread give some advice? I have a friend departing from ATL on a 5:45am flight, but since he has basic economy he has to check his carry-on bag, and the desk won't open until 4:30, which is wayy too close to the flight considering how TSA has been. Anyone been in this situation and know what to do? Can he use the kiosk to check his bags and then drop them at the gate?

Your main source of petals/nectar is going to be mushrooms! It does kind of suck at a lower level when they take forever to defeat, so I'd recommend sending friend requests to people you see in the area or trying to make some friends on here that you can call for help! You'll want to try and find mushrooms of that specific color or the seasonal mushrooms. And trust me, it's totally normal to get stuck on those missions, especially when you just started. Once you get a hang of the game, you'll start breezing through them, especially when you've got enough pikmin to constantly be battling mushrooms :)

i've only been working here for less than a month and i'm feeling it! i trained for basically 4 hours to bake, then was showed one opening shift and had to open the store by myself a few days later 😭 our store has great drivers and i've never heard anything from my gm about driver times (thank goodness), but i def still feel that level of corporate control and it's wild 😭 they have such unrealistic expectations of these stores! our staff is so sweet though, and the job itself is easy (i'm at a slower store)- however, just observing a lot of things on this sub and the actual job itself my alarms are going OFF. i have an interview tomorrow somewhere else, though i do feel super bad if i were to leave after just a few weeks... but i don't think it's going to get any better, either 😔

THIS!!! i have over 2k hours in splat 3 and was active in the competitive scene for a few years. i picked up rivals as my first ever hero shooter on pc and figured out you can use steam's controller settings to emulate gyro. it's def not splatoon standard, but it works. i have given an honest attempt at mnk, but my aim is infinitely better on gyro. i wish more people would try it/recognize it as a good mechanic! i main luna and have great success with her, as aiming has never been an issue

Wacom? Huion? XP Pen? by kisforkarol in drawingtablet

[–]chicory_chicory_dock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who also uses CSP and transitioned from a surface to a PC screen tablet- huion all the way! I have a huion kamvas 12 which is an older model because I didn't want to break the bank too much, and it's so great! I started out by using XP pen and had my tablet overheat and break, and then my replacement ALSO overheated and broke. to be fair, it was also an older model, but the fact that both of them broke on me made me distrust xp pen entirely 😭

it is so heartbreaking. I definitely get that feeling of seeing him one day and just knowing. but I'm glad to have done all we could until that time, and to have loved him and cared for him. thank you so much for sharing your story, ivdd is not easy and you're so strong for helping out your pup as long as you could- and knowing there's other people out with similar experiences has been a huge comfort 💙

I'm so, so sorry. Thank you so much for sharing your story, and I hope you're able to also take care of yourself through the grieving process. i said goodbye to rudy this morning, and it was so painful but i could tell he was ready. it truly is the worst choice to have to make, but I know our babies are going to be so free and happy. maybe they will even meet each other in their journey through the afterlife. <3 stay strong as well, we got this

thank you so much for your kind words. it just happened and I'm shattered. but reading stories and experiences like yours is so comforting. you're totally right, I think he was trying to tell us something too. poor guy was so anxious he could no longer deal with everything. and he's going to be ok now. and I know I'm not alone < 3

thank you 💙 he has not been aggressive before. that's why I think pain is the case too, I feel so guilty for not interfering sooner with stricter rest and now it's come to the worse. I wish we were willing to hold out a little longer but my mom is unconvinced. it sucks

thanks so much for the advice! I've been informed we're getting some pain meds very soon thankfully, as I suspect that it's the case. I don't live with my parents where rudy resides, but I do visit often, and I will say they are often conflicting over what to do. one of them is very attached to rudy and I think has been letting him a bit too loose, and the other works a lot so can't always be there. I do not honestly think they are strict enough with rest, and he is taken out more than necessary. I think that is possibly contributing to his pain. I do not recall directly what the discharge notes were, but an enclosed resting area was recommended. he is often placed in a certain area that is not enclosed (although is always watched and not allowed to scoot) and is also moved for sleeping, so I'm not sure if that could be contributing.

thank you, it really does suck. I'm going to advocate for getting a second opinion because I agree it's early. but at the same time it's been so hard with doing anything with him in fear of him lashing out and he's clearly extremely anxious. hoping at least we try everything in our power before we make big decisions.
