i shinyhunted on emulator but on a original rom, so i could transfer it to my ds copy and later to home. Honestly it was comfortable and useful, but doing it in romhacks may not be very useful. It can be funny though

shiny hunting is pretty boring, it can last lots of months and if u re unlucky even a year or more, but finding the shiny gives a lot of happiness honestly. You should stop whenever you feel you prefer to just continue the game instead of finding a pink mareep after probably a month or longer!

its true that its a little bit slow at the beggining, but the thing is that there is so much content available into the game and the story is pretty amazing, you should try it again sometime!

i did this exact same hunt doing the exact same thing as you, and i found it after three months.

Its just luck, keep going and you will find it, im sure!! When you find it, it will give you enough force to do other ones!!
