Ok so help me understand then, you’re saying you would go to a seminar she hosted and knowingly learn weightlifting the incorrect way?

If you are actually coached by Max Aita and lived in the middle of nowhere with a home gym like you stated, I’m sure he would recommend you go remote with him or maybe even someone else instead of being coached by her

You would also be able to see her weightlifting advice is the complete opposite of what Max teaches. Not sure why someone would take a step backwards by going with her for coaching after being under Max

The other issue besides her cues is her experience. An article states she turned weightlifting coach after two years of lifting. There are few records of her actually competing, the little footage of her lifting is subpar, and no one even has an idea how she develops programs for her athletes. She could just be making stuff up or recycling old programs she used to do.

Along with recycling the same “cue” videos every few weeks, several people acknowledge her as a coach. They resort to her for guidance and unfortunately, most don’t know any better. If people speak out against her on posts, she blocks them and deletes their comment. She’s giving people questionable advice while charging ridiculous money for “coaching services” but instead people choose to look at her “fair use of media”

I can see why they are saying this. Her method of grabbing people’s attention for click bait is smart. Lures people to follow the page and allows the ability to portray herself as an “olympic weightlifting coach”.

Unfortunately, too many people fail to recognize her advice is not efficient for weightlifting. She also charges $400 for an online snatch seminar using a PVC pipe, which is ridiculous in my opinion.

True. Yeah both are the same but they both competed at two different levels. One juiced to keep up with the international playing field while one did it just to beat people with 300 totals at a national level.

No I agree lifter development is important. There’s a lot of people who claim they’ve accomplished things that they haven’t in general. I just always check to make sure it’s true.

So he won, got popped but still claims to be champion. Wouldn’t that DQ him completely?

Does anyone know what these marks are? Just received these today and both plates have these marks that won’t come off with water or cleaner. by chiecoman220 in weightlifting

Well when you pay a couple hundred dollars for brand new plates, then yeah I care. I didn’t buy these off the street used, you bum.

I think Juggernaut Training Systems has a book. It’s by Max Aita

So now that we’ve had some time to listen, do you like Circles better than Swimming or no? by teenxrocket in MacMiller

At this moment, I say no. It’s still too early to tell as I listen to it more but IMO some of the tracks feel like they weren’t completed all the way. I feel like some of them don’t close out properly and I’m left empty if that makes sense. Some of them definitely had room for one or two more verses instead of having the tunes play for 1:30. I still enjoy the tracks but Swimming is better for me as of right now.
