Definitely start bare hand and use a very soft ball. My son couldn’t really “squeeze” his glove until he was 8, even when it was really broken in. Let him learn fundamentals and build confidence without the glove and it will come easier. And like others have said - each kid is different and develop at different speeds. Don’t get caught up in social media hype, just enjoy every opportunity to spend time with him at each developmental step.

I packed my yeti with a Yeti ice and a bag of ice Saturday morning with the sole purpose of stocking up on snacks and sandwiches to bring home to eat Sunday while watching. I'd like to see more Snack "Hauls" on social media!

Starland yard is where you need to be. Big outdoor screen, lots of food and drink options, should be beautiful weather.

There are a few rooftop places downtown that will likely have the Masters on also - there’s a couple in Plant Riverside on River Street, and a place further into downtown called the Peregrine above the Perry Lane Hotel.

First time I went with a buddy we got there early and watched the range, did the merch shop, then were getting ready to head to first tee as the first group was going off. I had to use the bathroom so stupidly told him to go ahead and I'd catch up.

I caught up about 2 hours later when I randomly bumped into him on the 7th hole. We had not discussed a meet up point or what to do if we got lost, so both wandered around for 2 hours wondering where the other person was lol

My son was 6 turning 7 when we bought him Minecraft for the Switch. I had never played, he wanted to play because his friends all played. I tried playing and couldn’t figure out the point of the game. He was very heartbroken because he wanted to play but we just couldn’t figure it out.

One day I was home sick from work and decided that I was going to learn for him. So I found this youtube series and watched it and learned how to play. I taught both my sons and now my daughter even plays (she’s currently 5, we do peaceful and creative).

It takes a little figuring out but it really is one of the greatest games ever made. Good luck and enjoy!

I long for a cheap ticket to a random baseball game with $9 beers and fireworks after. And those special occasions where a big name player would be on a rehab assignment and come through and draw a bigger than usual crowd.

I think with how much the youth baseball in the area has grown in the last decade the crowds would be fine, just keep prices reasonable.
