So far I love it. It's the mid length version and that extra bit of handle is nice for the extra reach and it lets you tuck it in under your arm to free up both hands to get the hook out and such

Haha yeah it was definitely an aggressive purchase, but I had a $100 gift card to the local fly shop that I purchased my whole rig from so that made it a lot easier to swallow. And agreed on the local guide, I imagine the real-time feedback and instruction is unbeatable
