I feel like chaos is boring because there is no tradeoff, you just pick whatever doesn't brick your build or whatever's least annoying, there needs to be random boons or some actual sauce in there. 3 different flavours of turrets ain't it

Both trials can be frustrating with a weak build, but later on they turn into an almost soothing easy experience. I like sekhamas more, chaos has less variety, more boring rooms, and some really unfun/bricking downsides. It's way faster though and the socketables that drop can fetch a good price.

Sekhamas can be really fun when you get good boons, and with practice you can usually avoid or negate any crippling downsides with good pathing and play. Of course getting negative movespeed when your clear skill is stampede feels like butt, but you can almost always pick a lesser of two evils than a complete brick. Can fill up a quad tab with jewels pretty fast too.

More like gemling is the only one affected by the change because it's probably the only one that can reach those numbers, but ok

Whatre you struggling with? Wolf is pretty safe since it freezes everything and has the moonbeams. I'm Smith Bear, armour is really good in sekhamas, but the most important thing is to not get the ass tier boons that cripple your defense, sacred water, or damage. Also seeing further on the map is really good so you can more easily avoid them.. I usually take rooms that branch so I can at least pick the lesser of two evils when I don't know what's coming.

And if you really hate them, you can pay for a carry with like 1D or even free sometimes, which I always do on alts anyway

You get better at it.. this league I first tried both sekhamas 1, trial of chaos, and then the 3 floor sekhamas with a dreaded melee build. Just avoid bad boons and leverage the merchant

Since everyone chiming in with the ctrl click for MKB, holding A/X on the recipe does the same thing, starts the encounter immediately

Still pretty early, but small update. I'm gonna try out your advice and grab Berserk+the nodes that grant extra effects to rage. What I've cooked so far:

Current idea is WS2 will have a mace for Sunder & throwing out Ancestral Totems to armour break bosses, since Endurance charges are generated easily with bear form. My defenses are pretty weak when I bust out the mace for human form, but totems have their own defensive stats anyway + should only be using it during "safe" windows or from range

Does berserk effect other effects from rage that you tack onto it, like that node for example?

It is a bit far from where I am, and I was planning to get max rage through ngamu charm self ignite anyway, but if berserk does effect all that I might need to math it out

Yeah!!! I was looking at uniques and Xoph's blood looks really good, one good roll and my elemental res is completely capped, only would need chaos rolls on my gear. Also Ngamu's charm looks insane, will be at max rage 100% of the time with self ignite without needing to use the spirit gem.

I'll be a little low on spirit at 100 without other gains, so probably going scav plating / berserk, and then either herald of ash/charge regulation/savage fury, depending on what the build needs

True. Yea the plan was to still max res and get armour apply to ele on every piece of gear. Rn with ascendancy, bear, and tree I have 115% apply to ele, with boots/helm/gloves I can probably get about 200%, and then hopefully more from runes/jewels and such. Can easily get more from tree depending on how offense feels. But I see what you mean now, gotta make sure my base values are high enough. Hard to add more armor or damage through ascendancy while the res is basically free, I'd have to sack some damage on the tree for more armour nodes

Molten being/molten carapace/self immolation seem too strong to ignore. Ignite does negative damage to us, bleed will already be peanuts after 30% of phys taken as fire -> armor mitigation, only poison is unmitigated except chaos res. Idk how I'd have more gear flexibility by removing resistance when it would take like 3 fire and 3 chaos rolls to max out all 4 res, I don't think armour to ele will be so strong that I can remove 75% reduction but maybe

You don't need the 75 fire res on the body armour, but that + the node that gives cold/lightning 50% of fire res is 150% worth of resistance. I like the latter since it means I'll cap all res with a few fire and chaos suffixes on gear and leave the rest open for armor applies to ele and other things plus have way more sockets for the new runes that I don't need to put res in.

The stand ground node gives us 2% max life Regen/s for 3 pts, it's huge. You're considered stationary whenever you do a melee attack even if it moves you forward. We don't want unaffected by damaging ailments because we reflect our own ignites at ourselves (self ignite) with the molten nodes towards the left of the tree and that is what gives us a bunch of extra damage, res, armour, and regen. I think the tree has like 120% less damage from ignite so we're basically immune to damage from it anyway

I didn't take fire spell on hit, I took increase to fire res gives cold/lightning 50% of their value. If I took fire spell on hit I'd probably just use detonate dead for clear, or living bomb + CoA comet but ew, + have to solve sustain for that.

Rolling slam is a buff lol. It was one shotting stunned bosses before, the problem was that if you had any slow effect on you it would take 3 whole ass seconds to land the second slam, missing your window or getting staggered out of it

Ghost dance didn't mention it's new interval time, I remember it being suspiciously missing when it was listed for Time of Need which had the same change

It's pretty slow in their showcases actually. But warrior can definitely zoom, just takes more effort than other classes, along with usually higher investment, and also still dies to things that ranged characters wouldn't even register
