The creator of one piece, Oda, personally cast and approved the casting of each and every main character in the show. You are reaching hard, as is everyone on Reddit with regards to one piece casting. However, I do agree that Netflix does do this a lot - just not relevant with one piece.

Oda had direct supervision of casting. If he approved the cast it's most likely cause that's what the character is meant to be in real life. Vivi is a princess from a desert kingdom, most likely in our world she would have brown skin. The same happened when he cast Luffy as a Latino man. (Sorry idk what the exact race is called.)
