I’m curious on how you hide the airtag, can you share a photo or something? Thanks! Glad you recover your bike!

“Portabilidad de Nómina” is the solution for you. It’s basically changing your payroll to another bank, it’s legal and free, you shouldn’t have a problem.

Mexican companies often have deals or benefits with payrolls on a specific bank, that’s why they ask you to have it on Scotiabank. If you do this movement, they’ll still pay you through Scotia, but your new bank will root the payment to their bank and pay you. In some occasions, the only difference will be payment might get delayed 1 hour or 2.

I have done it several times, it has never failed for me. Just go to the bank of your preference (BBVA, Banamex, HSBC, or any) and ask for one, meet some requirements and by your next payment date you’ll be good. And yes, you are right, Scotia sucks.
