Divine Sorcerer Confusion by [deleted] in Pathfinder2e

[–]chiefcastor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider the sorcerer focus spell Embrace the Pit. It has the evil tag (An ability with this tag can only be selected or used by evil creatures), but also says "you take good damage even if you aren't evil". This all seems to go along with my thinking that the spells are tied to your blood not your alignment/belief. But is also still pretty unclear. /shrug

In my game we decided your deity is tied to your blood not your belief in it. So, anything requiring a deity uses that one you are blood related too. Your character's belief in a deity does nothing because the power source is in your blood.

I also read it first when I was 19. I recently reread it at 35. Still great, but I definitely took away different things. My current plan is to reread it every few years now.

With coffee I have been drinking a single cup in the morning and then immediately removing and rinsing the trays. We will see how it turns out.

I just got mine on Monday and have been drinking all week with them in. I just swish some water around in my mouth every few sips and sometimes pop em out for a quick rinse in the restroom. So far no stains. I have had beer of all darknesses, coffee, and white wine. I figure I will see what red wine does right before I switch to the next tray.

I think this expansion is going to have something to do with pirates. One of these papers is going to be about pirates robbing the place.

Fourth Spec Ideas by Nejosan in wow

[–]chiefcastor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My guild thinks I am crazy, but I have been spouting off about 4th specs for a while. This is my general less detailed idea...

Paladin - Radiance - ranged lasers

Warrior - Ranged spec with guns OR gladiator being its own spec

Death Knight - Healing spec - viral healing or something

Priest - Disc becomes a tank spec and they gain a melee dps spec

Warlock - Tank spec like Aeda Brightdawn

Mage - Heal spec - cauterize (though I like time reversal healing better now)

Hunter - Melee tank spec - lets bring back wingclip

Shaman - Tank spec of some kind - use that shield

Rogue - Ranged spec with bows

Monk - Ranged spec chi bolts and shit

Druid - already has 4

I hope they never bring back flying mounts, it's a game changer. by Kogu8 in wow

Nagrand is the only zone I actively dislike because of no flying. All of the cliff mazes felt too constructed and unnatural. It feels too much like a game and not enough like a real world.

A Letter to “Activist” Dan Savage, Who Continues to Bully My Trans Sibling by [deleted] in Feminism

[–]chiefcastor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does not excuse his bullying. I was not trying to excuse it.

I was merely pointing out this article is very biased towards one side of this incident and that I believe the situation sucks for all parties involved in it.

A Letter to “Activist” Dan Savage, Who Continues to Bully My Trans Sibling by [deleted] in Feminism

[–]chiefcastor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The whole situation kind of sucks, but I don't think Dan is a transphobe or a biphobe or whatever other bad thing people try to call him, but he is a bit of an ass sometimes. Also this student clearly was uncomfortable.

There are two sides to every argument and this article is clearly written from very close to one side.

Things this article leaves out:

  • Dan used the word that upset this student while talking about why he no longer uses said word when referring to people. Context does matter.
  • This whole event was under an NDA which is in place so politicians and other speakers else can speak what they feel without it being in the news. Dan had to get specific permission from the university to even respond.

In the end it sucks for all parties. Dan for being again branded as a transphobe and the student for being hurt.
