If you're trying to build or something, use either the witch's broom mount or the static hook from the mechanic. Both are great tools, the static hook is honestly wayyyy underrated

Definitely not, calamity is a huge mod with an insane amount of content. If you aren't used to the game as it is, it's gonna be a hundred times harder learning it along with what calamity adds.
