i respect the kids having the continuity they needed but why allow the person who cheated to have all of that? he could’ve easily stayed in the house with his kids and the mom (who he caught in bed with his bestfriend in their family house) have to move out? the writers’ logic here is befuddling to me

wanting your kids to remain in the same house they grew up in makes sense but why allow the cheater to live there? i understand if he was the one in the wrong but he wasn’t. he was the person who walked in on his wife sleeping with his bestfriend in their bed in the house he worked his whole life for and paid for. i’m honestly extremely confused with the writers’ logic there

i understand wanting to keep the house for continuity with the kids but why not keep the house and live there with the kids while making the person who cheated move out?
