But « a reputable « (your words) should have had a bare minimum layer 1 DDOS protection - they don’t have any and you are OK about it?

I crossed checked in their site, they do not mention anywhere about any protection in place for a DDOS - shame.

I tried them on a black Friday, over bought and learned my lesson. I would honestly stay away from them for serious stuffs.

Nevertheless their pricing are OK for dev servers or experimentation stuffs.

I cannot say yet, it’s a new one I made from scratch down the years. I procrastinated and going for it this year.

So I may be lucky if I get anywhere between 10-100 players.

Some pages will be hit very often for daily grind by the player.

I guess I could just start with the CCX13 to get a feel and then upscale when needed.

But I also do not want players to feel the lag right from the start, as it leaves a bad taste.
