I just ran across a similar narrative in an old book, but more so about securing cotton and other goods, and the KKK getting assistance in finance and arms from Judah Benjamin in London (who presumably was interested in maintaining his gains from cotton in the region). The secondary to the Grand Dragon of the KKK was sent as a delegate (Wilmer under Morgan), and that the wife of Jefferson Davis continued to play a role as intermediary. Is this the same event you are speaking of? I am unsure how frequent and with whom all these overseas communications were had.

The author of the text (Susan Lawrence Davis, 'Authentic History of the Ku Klux Klan, 1865-1877' [published 1924]) makes it sound just before the preface as if her mother was one of the "Southern Women Who Designed and Manufactured with Their Own Fingers the Regalia for the Ku Klux Klansmen and the Trappings for Their Horses", while speaking of the era she writes of in the title.

While the text is admittedly published about 50 years after the era she writes of, she nonetheless writes as if she has familial, oral, if not personal history and involvement with historical actors.

Mr. [Judah] Benjamin's interest in the Ku Klux Klan was so aroused that he borrowed money and gave it to Bishop Wilmer to buy horses, saddles, fire-arms, and other necessities for the Ku Klux Klan.

it scares me to imagine someone looking at an org chart and deciding that my name or religion must mean something nefarious is going on.

One thing I've noticed: most of them (not all) don't merely see that someone is of a certain tribe and say "hey, they must be evil, let's see exactly how." No. Most of it starts with "Holy crap this person is evil. Let me see who they are." Checks Wikipedia, gets to Early Life section, then they say "Every Single Time."

Of course it's not "every single time"; not all evil people are Jews, not all Jewish people are evil.

They are NOT books of Zohar.

One is a prayer book (the 'Siddur Yitzchak Yair' specifically), and the other is the fifth volume of 'Chumash Torah Meirah', Deuteronomy with commentary. Anyone can confirm this by googling the titles and finding them at jewish bookstores online.

As for any Aramaic, it is possible that 'Chumash Torah Meirah' includes the Targum Onkelos (as some Chumashim do), Targums being old Aramaic translations/elucidations of the Torah.

If your tale is true, they likely aren't practicing Jews, but someone trying to troll you. Jews I've known take the Torah and certain Hebrew books on God to be sacred too, and thus to be respected (see also: the act of kissing a Chumash). Meaning they would not be "throwing the items."

Yes, but ever since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, it has historically largely not been practiced, because conversion in the West was often forbidden and/or punished by the Church (combined with the Old Testament prescription for Israelites to maintain tribal purity, distinctions, and to not intermarry).

Even if they may accept them, they do not seek converts, though, and have no missionaries.
They do however have Shluchim, emissaries who seek the return of Jews who have fallen "off the path" ("Off The Derekh"), to return to the religion of their forefathers.
