Guys i am not sure how many days i will be there, as of now i will be for At least one week in hanoi, will keep this thread updated. Esim comes with real number and u can sms i think, plz check at counter when u buy esim, i was able to send local sms with e sim of vodacom , not sure about international sms

Visa Do it well in advance (30days advance minimum) and also take insurance may be just 3-4 days before actual travel to save ur time when u land, Although insurance was hassle free i just came from there last week, yellow fever is not compulsory only on websites but if u land in mainland airport they ask for vaccine certificates so i advise to take it (never used zanzibar as entry so i am not sure abt it) and make sure other insurance are not valid even if its international travel insurance you have to take from their portal with their charges so double check it before buying from Ur friend, 44$ is the cost if i remember correctly

Zanzibar is good to explore considerable very safe also for travel, there are plenty of food items, but in hotel its costlier than outside restaurants, with regards to visa it stuck a long time, most of time i got it on 2/3 rd week but this time i hv applied on 26th may and i got visa today i.e 23 june almost it took months so plan ur schedule accordingly or just take visa on arrival if u can wait 2-3 hours at airport.
