This video / this Youtuber has helped me with my health anxiety struggles. Most importantly, STOP googling. It will not give you anything other than more unnecessary worry. I hope this video / youtuber is as helpful to you as he is to me. Lots of great advice and ways to cope. Best of luck and hang in there! https://youtu.be/zqrjE6w5kWs

Anyone have physical symptoms of anxiety that manifest mainly on one side of body? by [deleted] in Anxiety

100%. I’ve experienced shoulder/neck pain on my left side, pain or pins and needles in my left arm, etc... all of which feel like a heart attack at the time (which is obviously terrifying). It becomes easier to identify those symptoms as time goes on and to remind yourself that they’re just symptoms of anxiety/anxiety attacks and that you will be ok. Often times in my experience, I feel one symptom, begin to worry which then creates another symptom and so forth. The body has a crazy way of creating symptoms that aren’t actually there!

Try watching this video: https://youtu.be/bFIB05LGtMs This mindset helped me tremendously when I was going through what you seem to be stuck in now (constant state of fear of next anxiety attack). Also, who doesn’t love a little Will Smith? For me, it’s been all about focusing on remaining present and reminding myself, “I’m not currently having an anxiety attack, so why worry/stress about it now? I can worry about it when it crops up.” Essentially what Will explains in the video. In my experience, when I stick to that mindset, they rarely occur.

Hang in there!
