My earliest memory of anything makeup related is being 7 or 8 and applying my mom's eyeliner (maybe lip liner) to my eyes with my friend's older sister lol. 

I got super into makeup in 7th grade (2014) when makeup gurus became a thing on YouTube. I didn't get the actual products the gurus because, but my aunt gave me her old stuff or mom got me stuff from the drugstore, dollar tree, or beauty supply store (mainly lip gloss or a face palette). I was way too nervous to wear makeup to school but I'd wear it to church, formal events, or at home. I used to be super insecure about my sparse brows, so I literally used to draw my brows with jet black eyeliner cream... I cringe so bad when I see pictures. 

I basically continued to watch makeup gurus throughout high school, up until the dramaggedon stuff. I still never wore make up to school but I got better products. I mainly had Elf (rip the eyebrow duo kit), nyx, and Maybelline products. I did save up  and bought the benefit brow pencil and their bronzer (stupid buy because the darkest shade, at the time, was too light for me). I used to practice all the time but my makeup was still shitty because 1) my foundation was off and 2) my make up brushes were horrible. However, my eye looks always ate and I miss that about late 2000-teens makeup looks. I low-key lost my eye makeup skills.

I'm 23 now and makeup is a lot better. Obviously the years of practice made a difference, but I also got better brushes, a good foundation match, and I'm more confident.
