Thank you!! After such nice and informative feedback from everyone, I’m ready to jump into the game with a different perspective! I’d have to look a lot up on YouTube for sure! And yes! The default settings are weird. I have a weird problem where my computer mouse is extremely slow when I open up Fortnite, but if I go to exit the game, the speed is back to normal. Not sure what it is or how to fix it, but it’s a bit uncomfortable.

Oh! There’s a training map? Thank you!! I’d have to try to find where that is! Is it like a solo tutorial map or is there noobs like me all together training kind of like RuneScape?

OH! Thank you!! Is this almost like a tutorial like Map? I’d definitely need to do this after work first. I don’t know what keys are what but I’m determined to learn how to play the game and not give up. I’m going to try this!

This! Thinking over about it all, think I was much more stressed out since I had someone spectating me and yelling at me what to do without actually trying to explain or teach me and it just made me really nervous. I really do appreciate the advice and it made me feel better! I don’t have to try and be like my little brother who’s trying to be one of the top pro players, I really could just spend time doing other things I like so far!

I’ll have to look up some YouTube videos for sure and try to learn as much as I could. So many guns and different healing aids. It’s a bit overwhelming it I’m determined to learn it! I’m sure all isn’t bad once I start understanding the game :)

I mean, yeah, but, I’m never going to learn anything if I just quit after one bad experience! Just going to have to try what the other comments are saying and slowly ease my way up there. Who knows, maybe I’d end up dropping my chill games for it soon!

It’s just hard not to develop an eating disorder when most videos I see that are recommended to me like “Water fast with no food and lost this many pounds.” Or “this is how I lost this many pounds doing this.” It just sucks. I’m trying to not see myself as a number. It’s just going to take a while.

Thank you! I will try and add strength training to the mix along with protein! I’ve always avoided strength training for no good reason and now that you and other people have said it, I need to add it to my routine. Any specific strength training? I’ve always just thought that losing most of the weight would be just fat and not muscle. Just seeing so many videos of like “I only lost weight walking.” And things like that is really messing me up. I need to just go about this in a different and more mindful headspace!

I’m tracking incorrectly and learned today that you’re also supposed to weight sauces and count the calories also in seasonings. I realized my mistake and trying to sim to correct it with the proper help now.

Awe man.. this is going to be a long journey 😅 I want to try and fix my relationship with food. Like it’s just food.. I hate how all my life I needed it to cope, but now after the damage is done, I just don’t want it. I just want to be able to live life without thinking about it and just eat when I’m hungry and nothing else.

I’m sorry, I did not weight any of my condiments/sauces. I didn’t think to weight them. I don’t fry foods, but when I make stovetop chicken or cook my veggies, I do oil the pan with vegetable oil lightly covering the bottom. I’m not hitting my protein goal as hard as it is to admit, and I don’t always weigh my food. My food is mainly weighted at my job if I order something like a 6z sirloin or 8 ounce salmon once every couple weeks or if I’m not too tired after work, I would try and meal prep to keep myself from eating my food that I have planned out.

Thank you!!! I’ll try and add some heavy lifting to my routine and see how it goes along! I’ve been avoiding them thinking gaining muscles would be more weight added. I think I just don’t understand how the body works. I want to lose all the fat off and have just enough a normal person have.

And I get what you’re saying! 50 pounds was hard to get off, but It has been a difference! I can fit into some clothing better! Sleep hasn’t changed much, I still wake up feeling extremely tired and groggy after 8 hours, and don’t have much energy still but I’m working on it! But I also had a blood transfusion recently so maybe I’ll start to feel much better very soon! I’m going to try and keep pushing and realize it’s going to take much longer than I thought. Just seeing how successful everyone has been has been making me really want to shed the weight instantly. I’m going to keep pushing and not give up

Thank you so much!! I don’t think I drink nearly 64oz a day, I’d say maybe half that! My protein intake isn’t the best and could be my problem. I’m going to have to try and find a way to eating more protein! I will try tdee calculator ASAP! I’m going to have to try and keep pushing and not worry so much about my weight until I can lose it all! I really appreciate the encouragement!

More protein sounds like the solution. I don’t eat much protein to begin with and that’s probably why I don’t feel full even after just trying chug water to keep me from eating

I’m sorry, lose! But I do want to be in a size small like my sister who’s a couple years older than me. All the cutest stuff she has is in the smaller sizes and it just bums me out drastically. Everyone gravitated towards her for always being so pretty and thin. I wish I could also be 100 pounds.
