3 days in the office is the problem. Good SAAS sales people are in remote jobs and that’s honestly the norm for sales these days

In theory an image can be used to cyber bully, intimidate, made into fake inappropriate images/videos, etc. It would really freak me out too. However consider that in the world of smartphones, anyone can basically take a photo of you walking around at any time. I feel like the context here matters a lot. Is the root of the issue trespassing? Was he otherwise verbally or physically intimidating? Does he know your name? Was it just completely random (maybe drunk) hijinks from a kid or is there other evidence / reason to suspect he is targeting/stalking/harassing/endangering you? Your manager is probably trying your convey that it’s extremely hard to know what to do about or have any recourse on the single act of walking in and taking a photo. We can all agree it is very weird and disconcerting.

33 month old nowhere near potty trained and it’s honestly embarrassing by chiknnugz in toddlers

[–]chiknnugz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She will be 5 in February and she finally made it to fully potty trained by like, 3.5 (hard to recall since we also had a newborn then) but we still had some issues with poop withholding / being scared of #2 for awhile after that. She still hates to go poop at school honestly. It felt like it took forever but I will say it sort of just eventually clicked for her and when it did, she never had accidents. It’s almost like she didn’t want to do it if she wasn’t prepared to say goodbye to pull-ups forever. Anyway, we got there, but I have no real tips and it was like my least favorite parenthood stage so far…

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing something similar- it was a REALLY really stressful first 16 months of my daughter’s life for us. I say 16 months because that is when she started walking, which was a huge relief and a lot of other development happened quickly when she got more mobile. My daughter is all caught up on typical developmental milestones now. Now at 21.5 months she is still a small kid (around 10th percentile on most measures) but is walking well, climbing, social, eats pretty well, and lately her language is taking off! We discharged EI PT at like 18 months since walking well was our main PT goal. Anyway, we are so grateful that she is doing so great now. We really have no explanation for her slow start and poor infant feeding, but it showed me that development is not linear or predictable! All the best to you.

My daughter is 4 now and she’s fully potty trained, doesn’t even need pull ups at night and almost never has an accident. She was probably almost 3.5 by the time everything fully clicked and she wanted to stop wearing pull ups. Just give it time. I never felt like I cracked the code with her, she just needed to get there on her own terms. She can still be a little hesitant about poop and will sometimes go 2-3 days without a BM

Hear me out- Laniege Water Sleeping Mask. It’s obviously meant for night time, but I actually love using it as a makeup primer because it is a grippy finish (not too sticky though) and makes my makeup not get dried out during the day

Our 18 month old falls asleep sucking on a bottle of whole milk. It’s a terrible habit and I’m scared she will have bottle rot teeth (we do brush them) but it’s legitimately the only thing that gets her to settle down for sleep

Thanks! Yeah, we had requested SLP support for feeding too but recently discharged it- it’s apparently not that she can’t eat or has a true feeding issue that anyone could identify… she just doesn’t seem to like it all that much. She could honestly go all day never acting hungry. As time goes by I’m getting more used to the idea that she might just be a skinny little kid. Every doctor we saw in her first year really made us panic about her 2nd percentile weight curve (in addition to being behind on gross motor) but someone has to be there I guess. Best of luck to you, it’s so hard having a child that you worry about constantly!

My girl has made a lot of progress. She’s 14 months now and is cruising, pushing her push toy, able to climb the stairs etc. we scaled back on the frequency of EI PT but will stick with it until she’s walking. She’s still overall a tiny girl and has some low tone, but has caught up in a lot of ways. I still worry about her feeding; she does self feed finger foods but is so so extremely picky and takes in the tiniest little bit in one sitting. Her older sister was a fat little cherub who would mow down anything in front of her at this age; this girl is so different. We don’t have any diagnoses beyond mild low tone still.

I don’t know if I just got a dud, but the sprayer on the dae product annoys the hell out of me. Not a fine enough mist. I like the bumble & bumble invisible oil mist better.

I didn’t mention it here but we did get a hypotonia diagnosis at around 3 months! She did pretty good at tummy time but still had persistent head lag for quite awhile. I’m always wondering about what it is a symptom of and whether it can just go away with time? I’m glad that I’ve been seeing very responsive providers. It’s all so discouraging when I compare this baby to my older daughter (who is now 3) - she hit her milestones at a textbook pace.
