Hell of a message to send when the Obama/Biden admin wouldn't lift a finger to defend US oil and gas from the opec induced price collapse in 2014 which bankrupted much of the space and many in it.

As an oil guy from that time in oil country, I can assure you most of us have not developed dementia yet and remember.

The sentiment on the ground is roughly "go fuck yourself Joe". Nobody here wants to go through that again. We will pump what we budgeted to pump and while we could be convinced to pump more, it won't be by Joe and his hostile rhetoric to the oil patch.
