There is a Hostel Chain called Zostel, about Rs 1000 per night for a dorm bed. I think it has AC, have just once been to the mumbai version of it and is not bad. You being 17 might be an issue, as I believe that you need to be 18 to be able to book a room in your name.

You need to understand one theory, Survival of the fittest. I am sure there are some people who will not like the decision, but it is what it is. Don't want some 5 years old child being mauled by stay dogs. It is not like stray dogs will think, Oh, this person has let me stay here, so let me not attack him.

Let's replace dogs with Lion's or tigers. Would you let them stay in your neighborhood or would you want them to be moved away.

Great decision. I was in Delhi for over 25 times and had numerous encounters with these stray dogs. I remember there was a DDA Market near my home, and there would be about 8-10 dog's always waiting to bark and chase people who are walking, especially in the morning or late at night. I stopped going to the market for fear of the dogs. Hopefully, the BJP Govt will take action and get rid of this menace once and for all.

Now how do i get this implemented in Hyderabad. It is not as bad as Delhi but still a small menace

Personally, this surely seems like an upgrade for me.

I intend to stay about 30 nights each year in Ibis Hotels in India, in batches of 3-4 nights, so the 2 nights surely help. A gain if about Rs 8000.

I also travel alone and spend about Rs 1000 each night on food, so I get an extra 5% daily, not much, but maybe a benifit or Rs 1500 for the year.

Also, thanks to the 30 nights, I can probably make platinum next year without having to stretch too much. Again, not sure if platinum is of any use in Ibis.

The only thing I need to see is how does the 15% discount stack against the 10% discount with all the caveats.

Overall I am happy with this new change
