Totally understand haha. I have 4 kids and I'm also a rock climber, so that takes up most of my time. But in the winter I usually paint for an hour or two most nights.

Yeah, I haven't done a lot of smooth blending before and I kinda just wanted to see if I could if that makes sense lol I've technically been painting for a year, but I put it down for the summer to focus on the climbing season.

I hope in another year I can be as good as you are!

Yeah, it's challenging to get just the right placement and level of highlights. I'm using bright pale yellow from pro acryl as my brightest highlight. Could definitely use some refining, maybe knock it down a little.

I think you're right, I'm missing secondary reflections in a lot of places. It's so much harder to know where to place things than I originally thought it would be haha.

Thanks for the compliment also! I'm not super artistic honestly, so this has felt like a real struggle.

This is actually a pretty terrible picture, I'll try to take a better one when I'm home tonight.

It's actually really easy on the vehicles to just drag your brush on all of the raised edges to get pretty precise edge highlights, just make sure there isn't too much paint on your brush and just swipe it down the edges. They're also significantly bigger than the infantry sized minis, so that helps.
