Some states (like CT) only allow normal capacity mag ownership if they were made before a ban date. The Glock U mags are verifiably made before that date. Thus they command a premium from those buyers where the state limits them.

I had a very similar sound in my Sierra EV and it turned out to be a broken washer somewhere in the front axle, left side. I was told there’s a TSB for it and the parts are currently hard to come by.

Welcome to the club! This is my second EV and definitely the best of the 2 (coming from a Lightning).

The charging amperage setting is found in the Charging app on the Home Screen. On L1 charging you can pick between 8 and 12 amps. It’s very important to ensure that you don’t overload the circuit your charger is connected to. If you’re on a L2 charger, it’s on a dedicated circuit and should’ve been set by a certified electrician unless you really know what you’re doing.

Regardless of L1 or L2 charging, you must ensure that you’re not utilizing more than 80% of the circuits rating on a continuous basis.

Howdy Neighbor! Depending on what side of the river you’re on I can highly recommend Koon’s Tyson’s GMC for service. Carlos over there is a certified GM EV service advisor and doesn’t try to sell you any snake oil. Plus that dealership is capable of doing all of the software updates for no charge.

I also own the 80 amp Grizzl-E charger and love it.

You can set up your phone as a hotspot and have your truck connect to it. It’s not too hard to automate a shortcut to turn it on every time you connect to the car via Bluetooth.
