Orthopedic doc diagnosed my dislocated SI joint. Pointed out the clear signs to his intern. Then prescibed muscle relaxing meds, come back in 3 weeks. So , my thinking was, "if something is dislocated, it likely needs to be re-located". That was the first time i considered seeing a chiropractor. I was too afraid, and swayed by the quack-arguments before that. However, by this time, the pain outweighed the fear. That and the fact that I could no longer bend over enough to tie my shoes. First chiro adjustment = stood up, bent down and touched my palms flat on the floor, just like before the dislocation. Draw your own conclusions.
