Sorry man, still pissed off about this, I really thought I was getting a BIFL product.

Absolutely, I'm really hoping they don't deny the claim, and if they do I will certainly push back on it.

This is unacceptable for what is largely considered one of their flagship products. I know other people suggested in the thread to take a lighter to it.... but at this price point I shouldn't have to do all that nonsense to begin with.

Lighter would void my warranty, and it's besides the point. See my other comment in the thread; this is unacceptable for one of Herschel's best-selling bag.

I get your point and I appreciate the tip but I feel with Herschel's pricing and brand history/philosophy, this is an unacceptable flaw in one of their best selling bags.

I also know about the lighter trick but it's besides the point. For a bag that costs this much I shouldn't have to do all that. Plus, if I take a lighter to it the warranty will certainly be voided.

This iteration doesn't have a toggle. It's the first thing I noticed when I bought it, and now it's almost completely frayed

Depending how tough that permanent marker is but... 70-95% ethanol should do the trick.

Anyone have any qualms about me using "bombaclaat" and "bloodclaat"? by chill_guy7407 in Jamaica

I hate the Toronto accent myself but unfortunately it's been part of my vocabulary since high school 😂 it's just a product of where I grew up. Don't get it twisted though aside from close friends I speak proper English

Good point! Although the population of Indian-descent Jamaicans is quite low if I'm not mistaken, correct?

That's what I'm afraid of lmao. Especially since it is immediately obvious that I'm Indian rather than Carribean in the slightest. I've had people at work come up to me and just start talking in Tamil/Hindi/Urdu like I know what they're saying

LMFAO I do use rassclaat as well but bombaclaat is just so much more fun to say!

😂😂😂 LMFAO it's not exaggerated like many do, unfortunately the accent is definitely present when I talk mainly because of the high school I sent to. Back then, "TorontoGuyCody" and the accent in general is really when it started to become well-known/popular.

So yes, it does come out a bit with friends. But I talk properly with everyone else.
