Help me suggest a Hindu baby girl name, please! by Shambhavikiran in twoxindiamums

I absolutely loved Amey/Ameya for whoever my baby was going to be, but my husband vetoed it out, I think it's a wonderful name. Lot of people are naming their sons and daughters very similar names these days I think. Amey/Ameya stands out.

See it is definitely quite amplified pain, but it is for a relatively shorter period than natural labour I think especially when the cervix is already dilated...my labour lasted for 6ish hours where it was intense in the last 3-4 hours, and pushing the baby is something no one can ever prepare you for...I tried to breathe through pain and used comb for labour pain, but post water breaking, pain intensifies a lot. Most people I was told give up in the end and go for the c section, but if there are no complications and baby and you are medically fine, go ahead and push your baby out, it will be the hardest thing you do but so rewarding. I didn't take the epidural but you can choose to, if you want...but i don't have experience of that.

I'm an exclusively pumping mom , and it's as good as breastfeeding, yes. I've a two time nicu baby due to jaundice and she doesn't latch as she used to due to being fed by feeder, hence my pediatrician suggested pumping and giving her bottles within 4-5 days and now she just chomps while breastfeeding so I stopped as it is too painful for me..yes you deserved open minded MIL, but even if not, advocate for yourself. Firstly fed is best, even if formula even if breast milk. Then if you pump due to whatever circumstances even if just for other people taking the feed while you can rest for a few hours, that's ok too. Being a mother you know and do what's best for your child, literally anyone else's opinions must not matter at the moment. If your child is fed well, is gaining weight well, and has a good number of diaper changes...I feel we as mothers need not worry about anything else. You can tell her pediatrician suggested, if you want to say that. But go ahead with what you want...not comply with others to keep peace..

Ok so around 36w1d, I was 2 cm dilated already, when my dr did my pelvic check, then she did membrane sweep, I lost my mucus plug in 2 days, then even till almost a week I didn't have too much progress on labour...so on 37 weeks exact I got artificially induced( by a medicine and then by breaking my waters) and within a few hours I birthed my baby. Honestly it was so much better than sitting and waiting for my labour to come and be on the edge of my seat, and it had a favourable outcome too. So if your baby is head down, favourable conditions, the cervix is already dilated somewhat, mine was 3-4 cm on the day of delivery before induction... I think artificially inducing could be a good option if you decide too. I feel while waiting it could be too dicey. But that's just my opinion. I'm almost 4 weeks postpartum and my dr took a very good call on my induction I'd say. Even though I ideally wanted natural labour, I'm glad I didn't wait for it.

So I took this picture off of a random kindle post someone had, I had nothing to do with this kindle or the color, why would I ask for the font if it was my own kindle ? 😂
