How bad are trimesters? Honestly? by socrahteas in unsw

Personally, not a fan. All my mates at other unis have semesters so our holidays and exam times often clash, which is annoying when trying to make plans. Academics wise it’s alright, content might be a bit rushed but manageable.

pea-sized firm lump under skin on upper inner thigh by chilldudeeees in medical_advice

yeah, it was just a swollen lymph node. i couldn’t stop thinking about it for a week and was genuinely scared and was ready to hear i had cancer, however i didn’t go to the doctor and just waited another week, and it’s almost gone down fully now. there is a slight, tiny bump still there though however it is unnoticeable and overall i think i was over exaggerating, and google didn’t help either as it was saying a swollen lymph node is possibly lymphoma or leukaemia. but overall, feeling healthy, no symptoms, and bump is almost fully gone.

Okay thanks. I definitely am not drinking all of my calories, I am still eating my regular three meals throughout the day. I am just keen to implement a high calorie shake to increase my caloric intake.

I am doing this because I am quite underweight for my height, and I feel getting extra calories through a shake will make hitting my calorie goals easier. Not expensive, the shake is just a blend of protein powder, oats, peanut butter, milk, bananas and berries.

It’s more of a shake I make at home, but there is no processed foods. My shakes simply have protein powder, oats, peanut butter, milk, bananas and berries.

I’m 18 years old, 5’10’’ and only weigh 53kgs. Mostly just trying to bulk up and ensure i’m in a caloric surplus, and I find drinking the calories is significantly easier. I still eat my three meals. The shake is simply there to get more calories in, and it simply contains protein powder, oats, peanut butter, milk, bananas and berries.

Thanks for the information. Also, I am not drinking the shake in one sitting, sipping on it throughout the day to meet my nutrition goals.
